Awakening:

All my life I knew I was different- I felt very different. I had an encounter with a ship at age 9. After a Near Death Experience in 1996, I was opened fully and I remembered who I really was. It's been a true adventure ever since- not always easy- but rewarding once I overcame the ego challenges and embraced the truth of my being.

We draw others into our lives for reasons of spiritual growth and development. I absolutely welcome the opportunity to meet other lightworkers on the path to enlightenment for open hearted soul connection, communication and mutual inspiration.

I always felt different and somewhat of an outsider to this physical world. I spent a great deal of time in nature as a child. I found comfort there. In an effort to belong and understand the world around me, I collected a myriad of credentials and degrees over the years in the study of human psychology, spirituality, and interpersonal relationships and their effects on human behavior and growth. The sole purpose of my passion, research and work in the different disciplines was to learn all that is possible on who we are, why we do what we do and what works to achieve personal fulfillment, growth, a sense of spiritual purpose and connectivity, and inner peace.

After a NDE experience in 1996, my life shifted and I completely opened my channel to spirit. My focus and awareness became much broader, more expansive and fully love based. I finally remembered who I was. I was reawakened to the truth of my being and my spiritual purpose became clear. It has brought me to where I am today all these years later. It's been an interesting journey. Many challenges, many tears, much heartache- and now I have let it all go and found the bliss in escaping the illusion, the emotional emptiness and the chaotic density of the 3rd dimension.

(If it matters) Degrees and advanced training: Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology/Sociology, Masters work in counseling psychology, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Certified in Reiki I and II, Certified Life Coach, Metaphysics, Hypnotherapy, Human Physiology and Exercise Science, Certified Personal Trainer with ACE.

I'm a native Texan and I currently reside in Houston, Texas. I'm a mother and I love animals- I work with local shelters in the Houston area. I am commited to being a lightworker and serving the world through my presence and the gift of spiritual,inspirational writing that I feel I've been blessed with. My latest book offering daily doses of spiritual passion and inspiration, and it should be released by Jan 2009.

THE BRAND NEW DAY

At dawn, through my opened window,
I gazed upon a breathless,
And heart-stopping sight.

On the horizon in front of me,
Appeared an aurora of mystical lights,
Reflecting deep into the cavities and,
Ridges of the surrounding mountains.

Before me shone the early light,
Penetrating the morning mist,
As it caused perpetual golden rays
To illuminate through the highest
Mountain peaks,
Awakening the earth below.

As I peered closely,
Brilliant colors of light
Stretched upward,
Like fingers on a hand
Into the yet, dawning sky.

Oh, as I gazed at this precious sight,
Time itself seemed to be waiting,

The first beams, that would burst forth
From the East and to witness,
