Recently my nephew Ethan Stacy was murdered by his mother and his step father in Utah... he was ordered by a Florida judge to spend two weeks with his mother who had abandoned him as a toddler. Shortly after arriving in their new home in Utah Nathanial Sloop began abusing Ethan and it is believe his mother was as well. I am working along with many others to have a law passed that will keep parents that have abandoned their children from obtaining unsupervised custody and visitation without first being investigated and slowly integrating them back into the childs life with supervised visitation and complete home studies done. This has really been a nightmare but it doesn't have to happen again...Please help me stop this senselessness I know we cant help Ethan now but we can save other children and Ethans death will not be in vain.
