I was asked to write a blog on Venus being  Retrograde until Nov 16.   What are some of the things this aspects represents? Venus is presently retrograde in the sign of Scorpio -- after Nov 8 it moves back into the sign of Libra.   Both Scorpio and Libra are connected symbolically and energetically  to the energy of “relationships”, although in different ways. Venus is the planet of earthly love and affection between people. When planets are going retrograde it is a time for people to look back into how they have been using that energy in the past. With Venus retrograde makes this a beneficial period to examine old relationships-- be it with lovers, friends or family. It is  time to examine any karmic build-up we have created by our thoughts and emotions with others.  Venus in Scorpio can bring up issues of control in relationships -- from either ourselves ( sometimes our Ego hides this quality to ourselves)  or to us. In it’s negative aspects it is not a balanced and equal relationship -- if you find yourself in any of these types of relationships now is good time to examine or re-examine  it -- and bring some Light to it.  Libra is ruled by Venus  -- when Venus is retrograde in Libra it is a good time to send love to others. Was there a  someone you wanted to share your love with but you weren’t able to. Send them a piece of art , a poem , a photograph -- the period from Nov 8th to the 16th is a good time to do so.
