Hello my lovely lightworker friends! I've been away a bit lately and wanted to fill you in on my new adventures.

Well, yesterday was my 45th birthday. I feel pretty good about it actually. I haven't held up too badly and am getting a greater sense of the things that make me happy as I age. That's a great gift, I think.

Started a new job two weeks ago. I surrendered to the Universe and asked to be led where I'm needed. I got a job working for the Busch Gardens theme park. Seemed like a strange place to be led - but it turns out I'm writing articles for their animal conservation department. It feels meaningful. You know, kind of "speaking for those who can't speak for themselves." I walked through the park on my lunch break the other day and had a real connection with a huge Gorilla. There she was - just 3 feet away from me - staring into my eyes with the most expressive look on her face. She tilted her head to the left - and then to the right, as if trying to figure me out. There was no one else around so I told her that I was here to try to help her and her fellow animals. She never took her eyes off me. There was such an all-knowing aire about her. I think I'll visit her more often.

I'm also trying to step into my new future with enthusiasm. This is new to me. In the past I've been a bit fearful - or kind of intense because I really wanted to do a good job, but now I'm just lightly waltzing in and bringing my light with me. If I can shine it somewhere needed, I will. If not, then I'll use it to illuminate my own thoughts and attitude.

But mostly, I really miss you guys and the security of being in a place of like-minded people. I'm determined to maintain my calm and precious spiritual connection out in the real world - but I can see that's it hard to do. Everyone's so busy, busy, busy - there's no time to sit and be still - unless I make the time. I'm trying to make the time. I can see that's just as important as eating or sleeping to my overall health and happiness.

I'll keep checking in here from time to time to stay up to date on what's going on with all of you amazing individuals. Please continue to send me a small portion of your light, as well. There's a crazy world out there waiting for all of us and the unique things we have to bring to the table. I suppose we might as well get on with it! Blessings to you! Marci
