OK...I'm confused, somebody throw me a lifeline here. Who the hell is the observer? When do WE
get to take over the observer position? I mean the we that thinks in the 3D body? Who is it
who does THAT...the thinking? Is that personality? Is that self? I think ego mostly held that
observer position for the first years of my life. Musta. Heck, back then I didn't even realize
I HAD other selves...ego was in the driver's seat. Later on in the piece, when ego 'joined the
home team' and stopped needing to do the driving, I thought THEN I'd be in the observer chair.
But no, the observer still remained on the 'outside'.
As I grew and learned I figured OK when enlightenment arrives THEN I will be the observer. Thing
is I had the idea that when the light body became fully embodied and integrated that WAS enlightenment.
Mighta gotten that wrong. That happened but the observer still sits 'out there' and 3D me is still on the inside.
For quite awhile now I've had this feeling that I'm actually 'somewhere else'...in time, in Universe, just
somewhere else...no details provided. From this somewhere else I'm watching this incarnation unfold, like
a flashback scene in a movie. Almost like I can sense a 'bigger self' not only remembering this lifetime,
but participating in it. Does that mean that the observer is our self time traveling?
How come the observer gets to know every single thing about us, IN this lifetime, but never 'shows it own
hand'? Is there a self that dwells outside all time? Outside all limitation? Is it this self that hangs
around 'watching' all the time? Have you noticed that that's ALL the observer does...observe? If the
observer IS ourselves, well, dont'cha think it oughtta give us a little 'heads up' about things instead
of just WATCHING us work our path? A few hints and clues maybe?
Thing is I can get the observer into an experience, but I can never 'see' the observer from the outside.
Even when I CAN get the observer to participate rather than observe I can only hold onto that for a few
fleeting moments. As soon as I REALIZE the observer is participating instead of just observing it hops
back out again. Who, and WHAT the heck IS the observer? Why are we even being observed? Does there
come a time when our present incarnated consciousness BECOMES the observer? Does the observer ever just
become redundant and we don't need observing anymore? Heck, do we ever get to communicate with the observer?
How about somebody explains this whole business to me...in simple easy to understand English...short words
without too many syllables. Probably not gonna happen huh? I mean no matter how many folks try to explain
the observer they can only do it from their own 1/7 billionth piece of the picture. Ya probably gotta BE
the observer before you can understand it.
Guess I will go on an info search...looking for answers I'm not sure are out there to find.
