I may not be in tune enough at times to experience what all other humans and beings are experiencing at once, in this reality but we are still all one being. My consciousness has been temporarily redirected or blocked. When we meditate we are able to tune in to every living thing and realize that we are one being. For example my awareness is not in my big toe at every moment but my big toe is part of me and has it's own experience and function.
We are awakening to this reality. There is no point in trying to stop someone from doing something you don't want them to do any more than you should try to stop your thoughts from arising or your hair from growing. Your body responds to cause and effect because it is the result of cause and effect. The Real You is not your body and there is only so much you can do to control the body at this cause and effect density. There is only so much you can do to control other humans or events and even when you can you are depriving them of their own experience even if you consider it wrong or harmful. So it is better to master what you can of your own response to the worldly changes rather than trying to stop or change what is. That comes from the real you that is observing the external world. There is less suffering and more contentment when we do this. And there is even joy when we see the beauty of allowing all life to be its truest expression.
