How many times have you looked at yourself in the mirror and thought: "Oh no!! The horror! My thighs are huge! I should be called Thunder Thighs!, my butt is too flat!!, my boobs are not big enough!" I am willing to bet that almost everybody at one point or other have looked in the mirror and have found something to complain about. I am also willing to bet that only very few individuals look at themselves in the mirror and feel 100% happy with their appearance. I will elaborate more...but in a nut shell the reason why we struggle with weight is becuase we haven't found a way to appreciate and love ourselves. And you may ask what in the world does loving myself have to do with my cottage cheese thighs? Well, everything!! Love is the answer to ALL of our problems!! Think of a problem, and then think of adding love to that problem and you tell me if the problem doesn't seem less menacing to you. So now imagine what giving love to yourself can do for your body!!! Have you ever really stopped and contemplate this concept of loving yourself? I must confess that to me this concept felt not only ridiculous but also awkward and a tad vein. But one day I decided to really explore this concept. I thought about it so hard I think I herniated my brain!! That's how far removed I was from this concept. But after a while my body started reacting to my thoughts of love towards my self. It was almost like a tingly feeling in my stomach, some people describe this feeling as butterflies in your stomach. Now I want to share with you how it feels to love yourself and then I will tell you how to lose weight once and for all!! When you love yourself there is a feeling of warmth in your heart. To get this feeling you have to consciously set the intention. You have to say to your self: "OK, Today in this moment, I am gonna show ME love". Then do whatever comes to mind. You can pedicure your feet, you can give a different shape to your beard, you can prepare a nutritios meal with all your favorite ingredients, you can pasionately kiss your spouse or significant other, you can go do something good for a total stranger. Do ANYTHING THAT comes to mind that is going to make you feel good inside. Once you have capture the feeling, keep the feeling there and turn to the mirror and say: "My dear and loyal body, Thank you so very much for always being there! Without you I could not experience anything in my life. Thank you for being strong and thank you for carrying me through the day regardless of all the verbal abuse you take from me. Starting today, everyday I will thank you for all the wonderful things you allow me to experience. I love you forever". And that's it! this is how to lose weight and stop struggling. Treat your body like best friend, like the one and only true friend you have. Align the reasons why you want to lose weight with love. Wanting to lose weight becuase you want others to think you are attractive and want to fit in "cute" clothes is not a powerful enough reason for your body to react and lose the weight. Your body knows better and it will rebel. Your body knows that it deserves to be loved and cared for regardless of its shape. And anything that is not in alignment with that concept will make your body rebel and manifest more weight. Because we all know that what you resit will persist. So turn off the TV, stop reading gossip magazines, stop comparing yourself to "better looking" people. That's how you lose weight. Is that easy! All you have to do is focus all the love that you are capable amassing within your being and give that love to yourself. No one will ever love you as passionatly and as purely as YOU can. It is time to realize that our bodies are more than just a vessel. They are our homes, our temples!! It is my desire to help you see that YOU ARE ALREADY PERFECT just the way you are, extra pounds or not. So go love yourselves and lose weight in the process.
