I have a gifted friend with Parkinson's who needs to make a change in his life. I am posting this to see if any of the options below fit in with anyone's life path, or if anyone knows of a possible fit elsewhere.
Malcolm is 65, a published artist, and highly intuitive/psychic. He lives in Jacksonville, FL. He's had a rich life of experiences and still has a lot to offer others. He is currently living alone. I visited him last week and saw that he needs to change his liviing situation so that he has more frequent assistance from others with simple tasks, like reading and typing on his computer.
As I see it, he has three options.
1. Move in with another (spiritually-oriented, conscious) family. This could be anywhere, whether in the U.S. or beyond. He can contribute approximately $800/month on a reliable, long-term basis.
2. Find some kind of health-related facility where he could be a candidate for alternative treatment for Parkinsons.
3. Have someone move into part of his home, which is currently split into two separate residences. This person would be expected to keep him company and care for him daily, in return for very low costing housing in the other half of his house... probably costing no more than $350 per month.
Please private message or email me (rdmiller at together dot net) if you have any thoughts.
Peace.
Richard
