Fear/love
Insecurity/confidence
Inferiority/superiority
How feeble we are
Girls wielding insecurity
Guys wielding anger
How feeble we are
In this big earthly joke
Thinking we are great
How feeble we are
Showing off
Talking big
Being 'scary'
Can we not dream big
And transcend this stupid game
You take from me
I take from you
We mask love for lust
And chase, chase, chase
After hate
A world of lies
We live to hate
For if we truly loved
Oh how soft our hearts would be!
What a tragic joke
We try so hard
holding fast to our power
Wielding anger
Wielding the power of inferiority
We think that making others feel less
Will give us more
But that is oh such a bore!
God's graceful touch
Is what I so desire
Forget all of these trinkets of fear
Forget all of this pain!
God is all I so desire
Forget this world of hate
But to know god we must know love
But to know love we must hold no attachment
How?
How?
How can this be so?
How is this possible?
How can I do this?
By accepting fear
We transcend fear
By being humble
We transcend insecurity
By taking confidence from god's grace
We live in true confidence
Oh how sweet it is!
to pass through the earthly sweat
Into heaven's abyss of the heart
Oh how sweet it is
To know fearlessness
Oh how sweet it will be
To live past attachment
And explore world after world
Dimension after dimension
Of God's kingdom come
But to know god is to grasp nothing
For we cannot hold the full container
Of an emptiness vastly full of everything
Only an empty mind
Free of attachment
To knowing
To loving
To everything
Can truly find peace
For there is too much to grasp
To much to know!
Better to experience these beauties
And let them go!
Peace be to you great prophets
Who live this truth that I merely speak
For You light my path to heaven
To the heavens
In the spaceless yonger I wish to go
Attachment and Fear
Are the vices of life
Detachment and Love
Bring one closer to all
Oh how this world wishes to grow
Not seeing it's own woe
Stabbing it in the toe
I end this poem
In hope to god
That I will have the Grace
To someday Live these words!
