First frog on the window. Spring bulbs budding up. Birds getting around with beaks full of twigs and fluffy
stuff. It's all on...spring has sprung. Whatta magical season spring is. It's like the rebirth of everything
that was lying quiet over the winter. Last night, for the first time since the beginning of winter, the night
orchestra was out there in full voice. Over the years I've learned to ignore stuff like set dates about when it's
officially spring...especially here, where somebody decided 1st September was official. Forget the equinoxes
I guess and pick a date, stick it on all the calenders and it's 'official'. Anyway, I have my own sorta bush
telegraph here, and the other residents, frogs, birds, insects and such, always let me know exactly when spring
has begun. And how about those 'push pulls'?? A certain sign that the Earth herself is warming up. Right now
I have a window sill packed with zillions of push pulls. NOTE: I have no idea what push pulls actually are.
They look like some very small sorta gnat or something. Folks call them that because it is said that one guy
gets pushed through your screens and then pulls his mates in with him. Don't look at me, I didn't make that
one up.

As I look around I see tress bursting into full bloom, promising a rich fruit harvest this year. The currowongs
and cockatoos are starting to gather in huge flocks...preparing to make their annual migration journey back up to
the Bunya Mountains. The farmer has plowed up his fields for planting, so I've got this lovely patchwork quilt
across the way. One pasture is green, another is golden, and two others are red soil...beautiful. A gentle breeze
is dancing the laundry on my clothesline. This just plain feels good.

Just before I was watching some news. About the disasters around the place. Unsettling. Our national news reports
each night pretend that Universe starts and stops at the Australian borders. We have heard nothing about what's
going on in the Asian area where there are a whole buncha cyclones, or thyphoons, waiting in line to attack the
land. Earthquakes, sinkholes, volcanoes spouting off. I dunno, maybe I'm better off not knowing. You know, that
whole ignorance bliss relationship.

Spring brings a sorta promise doesn't it? I mean it's like announcing that the sun will soon be back in his full
force and nature will snap to and start performing it's miracles again after the winter sleep. Big contradiction
there. I mean between the news reports I was just watching and the promise of something better coming soon. We
need a global spring. Arab spring didn't exactly end up bringing a whole lotta good did it? Folks still fighting
and dying over there. Would be nice if we could somehow share the magic of spring, the magic of potential goodness
and rich harvest, everywhere, all at once in human consciousness. Like a sorta re-set. Everyone gets to feel
hopeful and positive at the same time. THAT would bring some changes in the world, don'tcha think?

When I'm a planet and it's time for me to ascend that's what I'm gonna do. Better make a note though. Probably a
fair way off time wise and I don't wanna forget. Ascension by spring. Whole planet gets that spring magic all
at once, and everyone knows it's time to ascend. Leave out all the difficult stuff Mother Earth is experiencing
now. Just swoop spring down, everywhere all at once and presto...all life forms suddenly have a whole new
consciousness. YUP, I like that plan. Maybe I oughtta mention it to Mother Earth...

Spring magic. Like a promise, like a warm hug from Mother Earth herself. Only one thing I like more than spring.
Summer...and it's on its way.
