on motherhood (a day we return to the preciousness of the womb)

I AM A MOMMY.

6 months pregnant with a one year old puts me powerfully into my total and true feminity of nurturing, empathy and total selflessness. this is place we all need to experience, even without having had children.

because we all the have mother spirit in us.

the goddess, the earth, the life we had before we were able to care for ourselves. the wisdom that includes all, even the most unfathomable forgiveness and the most darkest and deepest pain to be healed. this is the mystery of the mother and the reason why everything will be ok.

the world is sometimes a harsh place and i lose hope sometimes. apathy, greyness, lack of connections between people, lack of self esteem in young girls, the lack of sensitivity in young boys, the lack of love in marriages, the need for more understanding, forgiveness, togetherness in our giant, impersonal world. it sometimes swallows my sensitive soul.

but that, too, needs to be forgiven and held preciously in motherly arms as it blossoms into complete and utter healing.

we are all children awakening to our inner mother -- the magic, and mystery of existance.

in awe and gratefulness for our eternal mother spirit
