We were given labels big and bold
Society shunned us and shameful stories they told
Our love they called a mortal sin
Bizzare when it comes from the heart deep within
We struggle to be free of this darkened cloak
Our power has grown and our unity we envoke
We are women and we stand strong
So tell us society what have we done wrong??
