I met one of the most fascinating people yesterday...

I had a Tremendous weekend - I met a guy who is a musician/record producer and he is a really incredible person. So talented and full of life. I think I pretty much knew his life story by the time we parted ways last night. This whole thing got me thinking... How I knew I had to go down to the festival last night and hang out with the crew from back in the day :) Thinking in the back of my mind I was going for an entirely different reason.. there was a blues band playing out last night - Sonny Moorman - Love the guy. He is tremendous. I always have such an appreciation for people with musical talent...I didn't get any part of that gene! My brother did- he plays bass and is pretty decent. So, anyhow I go downtown Cincy for the Taste and meet up with my sister-in-law and she introduced me to Todd and right away - he just puts out this great energy. I love being around people that make me feel like that. It is so flipping unbelievable. I just had to kiss him. Tremendous kisser too! It is so exciting to listen to people talk about their passion and to see how they light up when they talk about it. He exuded total confidence while he was playing and it was spot on. He was down in my brother's basement after the festival and they jammed for about 2-3 hours. I haven't laughed that much in so long. God those days were great when we had nothing better to do than sit on the stairs in someone's basement and listen to all the local guys who were bound and determined to make it as rock stars. Funny, they were to us, back then at the age of 16 :) Getting back to Todd, I could literally crawl inside his arms and curl up in a ball and be happy to never leave. Didn't get his number, didn't give him mine... may never see him again and that is ok. Very happy to have had the opportunity to get to know him a bit and share 12 hours with him. Very content!! Love always, K
