"Magic Words" (after Nalunqiaq) Inuit

In the very earliest times,
when both people and animals lived on earth,
a person could become an animal if he wanted to
and an animal could become a human being.
Sometimes they were people
and sometimes animals
and there was no difference.
All spoke the same language.
This was the time when words were like magic.
The human mind had mysterious powers.
A word spoken by chance
might have strnage consequences.
It would suddenly come alive
and what people wanted to happen could happen-
all you had to do was say it.
Nobody could explain this;
That's the way it was.

My brothers and sisters, I share this with you, because the secret to the magic words is in the heart. Words hold great power when they come from your heart rather than from your mind. What is in your heart? What is in your words? Come back to you own power. Leave your old ideas behind and live in that still space within your own heart in which all knowledge dwells. Live from this place, then speak what you desire to create and it shall be so.
