Diving Beyond the Mind




Silence like a vacuum cocoon
Allows me to sit and be still
I hear my mind playing out it's fantasies
About the past and the future
And all the possibilities
Of what could have, should have or might happen
Realizing that is irrelevant and useless
I leave the mind behind
I pause to enjoy the silence and its safety for a moment
Finally I turn to face my feelings
And beneath those
The place from which they bubble up
As I plunge into the abyss of creation
Terrified at what is there
Swimming through the darkness
On the other side I find
Fairy dust and the light of the sun and moon
The power to create anything from unicorns and joy
To horror shows and misery
I find the choice is up to me
Once I break those patterns where
The mind keeps telling me I am the victim
And realize the truth, that I am the creator
