Ameythst

One of my favorite gems is amethyst. My favorite color is purple. I also read the Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld comics. Amethyst was said by the ancients to prevent drunkeness. It was once considered rare. But they found alot of it a few years ago, so the value has dropped. I still like it however.
