The Holy bible is one of the most profound, enlightening, spiritual guilds when it comes to gaining that true feeling of enlightenment. This is a book that is so profound that most of the wisdom written on the pages definitely wouldn’t be anything that the mere ego would even be able to decipher in the smallest bit. I truly don’t be that this knowledge was even meant to be taken in a literal since (as the ego would have you believe it should be taken), and I also don’t believe it was mean to have the rituals and historic traditions of the people within it’s stories to be taken as a straight out law only gossip true law to be forced on people in a dogmatic, fear teaching way. Also, a fact that is unknown to most is that Books and scriptures are missing from this great work of wisdom. Hundreds of books and scriptures that were scribed were rejected by the church when they put the Holy Bible together (I am not downing the church for doing this because they did what they felt they would need to do so that there new religion could easily flourish at the time it was born). The Gnostic Gospels were just a handful of rejected books and scriptures and they hold profoundness within themselves that really needs to be heard. Once heard, the traditional Bible shines even brighter with a light of truth that can’t be denied. My favorite writings from these Gospels would be a scripture in the book of Thomas. Jesus reveals where the "kingdom of heaven" can really be found. “These are the secret words of Almighty God, which Lord Jesus Christ uttered and were scribed by his disciple Thomas. He said, "He who comprehends the inner meaning of these words will be immortal. Permit whoever seeks never to cease from seeking until he finds. When he succeeds he will be turned around; when he's so turned he'll be amazed and shall rule over the All. If those who lead you say "God Kingdom's in heaven,' then birds will fly there first. If they say “It's in the sea,' the fish will swim there first. For God's kingdom dwells in your heart and all around you; when you know your Self you too shall be known! You'll be aware that you're the sons and daughters of our living father. But if you fail to know your own Self you're in hardship and are that hardship"
