The Spiritual Movement

In A Backward Society.

Ever since the introduction of the movement of Spiritualism through the Fox sisters was introduced and highlighted more in all country’s we have seen surges and declines in this movement as people have come and gone, true there has always been a steadfast group working behind the scene’s but and in all honesty how far has the Movement moved.

We know the mainstay of the Spiritualist movement has been through the Spiritualist Church, but over the years there have been many breakaways, independent groups, society's and centre’s springing up all over the place bringing in newer aspects, introducing what has been defined as newer concepts from greater understandings and of those of us who are aware of Spirit we are eager to continually learn and advance.

Don't you agree however that being Spiritual or associated to Spirit means so much more than such separate and individual groups, society's and centre’s. Over this past decade on a more personal level I have visited numerous places that although all connect through one equilibrium this being Spirit, the teachings and methods and even more so understanding seems to differ so much, now if I who is a believer of Spirit gains confusion from this, then how on earth can anyone of us expect any person who is seeking to find Spirit and a true pathway ever find true clarity.

Spiritualists, Spiritualism, Spiritists the list goes on and on and when you look deep into the structure of each, we see each foundation to be run by man deriving from one, the founder of each which is in most cases rather like a Religious movement.

A spokeswoman of a Scottish based society of a Spiritual movement actually stated to myself that if it wasn't associated to the recognition of a Religious group that she in turn would walk away from Spirit and yet how many times have we heard Spirit say, that in the realms of Spirit there is NO religion, for all are as one.
They work together in harmony, united in Love striving to show us all the true way forward but the question still remains the same are we moving forward or going backward.

Logic from Spirit through many philosophical teachings shows to us the key element and this is UNITY, a standing together as one solid movement, living our life in a more Spiritual way. Jesus Christ a renown Medium and Healer endeavored to UNITE the people and albeit slowly progress was being made, because people now saw a way forward united together, this as we know was short lived because of the Religious and Political status of the Roman control. But we today no longer live in a Roman controlled society we live in a time where we are more accepted, we live in a time where more and more are desperately seeking answers to establishing a World of Love, Peace, Harmony and UNITY.
As Brothers and Sisters of Spirit, do we with this greater understanding surely owe it to society to help show them a way forward, help them to find what it is they seek and if you say YES!, then firstly we have to show them we can stand together UNITED as one.

We are all of the same family of Spirit, a family that is seemingly distant from each other, for and if I say to you the name of Evelyn Green how many would recognise this name, I doubt if any but perhaps a mere handful, yet Evelyn was a Sister of Spirit to you, she was one of the key figures in the Spiritual movement in North Nottingham in the United Kingdom until the 80’s, yet in our own physical family you could perhaps reel off the names of Aunts, Uncle’s, Nephew’s, Niece’s, Cousins and so on ..........I would love an opportunity to know ALL of my family, my Brothers and my Sisters of Spirit, I would love to have a family gathering where we all come together UNITED together as one, what a feeling this would create amongst us all.

One of the seven principles adopted by the Spiritualist Church and its also one of the Indian Nations Ten Commandments is the:
“ The Brotherhood of Man “…………….. I ask, Where is it?

So I appeal to each and everyone that reads this article, reach out in your hearts to one another, lets start taking the Spiritual movement forward, lets begin uniting together as a family should be.
Remember no one individual is any better than the other, we are all equal, lets lose the blinkered effect, lets climb away from any form of EGO by thinking we are better in what we do, lets find the balance Spirit speak to us all about continually.

Lets Be The Family We are Meant To Be and Stand Together.

Candle.3.Chair or Blanket.and after the Ceremony we will all, if you wish go somewhere and share Breakfast, a place to be decided upon, so please let me know if you are coming so I can give you directions to this wonderful Event.
Also it will be a connection to all different parts of the world on a Saturday here which will make it very early in the morning, what a wonderful way to start the Weekend and I thought as seeing we are assisting in passing over all the lost souls ,the address is also an appropriate one,I look forward to all who join me.
