ONE OF THOSE DAYS ...

<p>Today I enjoyed something that I wouldn't normally enjoy. I drove into Liverpool City centre in the heat with jack sitting on his red plush cushion in the front seat, with the sun roof open and the windows down and it was WONDERFUL! I'm not a city person and I hate crowds and the noise of the traffic around me but today I just felt I could do it. Jack's never been to the city centre either but he was great, he just trotted quietly beside me taking all in, crossing busy roads without a hitch and the strange thing was ... I set off without a plan of where I was going ... and I got a parking space without planning that either ... it was just there right where i needed it ... in a little car park with an attendant so I could leave the sunroof open while we went a walkies. The offices I had to go to let Jack in without any problem ... and I got my business done in record time. Soooooooooo ... next it was a sit down on the grass in the park sharing an ice lolly with Jack. There were lots of people sprawled out on the grass and such a lovely atmosphere around the place and plenty of smiles and happy people. Luckily there was a fountain near the Walker Art Gallery which was in full flow so I just had to give Jack a good splashing to cool him down because his little tootsies walked a long way today! Now that's what I call a Light Filled Heaven On Earth Day!</p>
