Dizziness, Disorientation & Nausea

For probably about 2 years now there have been times when I have felt the occasional dizziness, disorientation and nausea for no apparent reason. I can be perfectly happy one minute or day and the next have this phenomenon. One thing that seems to help is to ground myself to Gaia and the discomfort goes away. Does anyone else feel this? Is it common?
One thought is that we are feeling momentary shifts in the earth changes and our bodies take a little longer to acclimate to it. It could also be a reaction to traumas on the grid that we are tapped into. On Friday, Aug. 15th, 2008, I felt a great sadness for several hours (MST); it then passed that evening and I was fine. Today, Sunday, Aug. 17th, 2008, I felt dizzy, disoriented and nausea at about 1-3 p.m. (MST) but then when I did the grounding it dissipated quickly and I felt fine again.
Please respond if you have had any similar experiences and let me know what you feel they are caused by.
