how..do you do this..or do you?

dWell its no secret,my twin goes through a very rough time financially, and just right before him I did,and after mine was fine again,it was his turn. I want to help him in some way. I know its his struggle, but he is fighting to keep himself going, just near finansial disaster. I really like to help him. Now, I do practise SOME magic. but only when I have to.
all my magics always turned out fine, but thoose of you,that are skilled or knowledgable in helping your twin out in this way or other ways, how can you avoid doing something you should not, when its your twin?
because Ive heard it can go totally wrong or opposite,when or if youre doing "something",and its your twin you are doing it for? is it true? how do you avoid it?
I thought about something to draw job or something in his life..
to protect him..
