BUTTERFLY STORY

I was looking for a material in my files today and I came across this story about a butterfly, which I decided to share with you:

ABOUT A BUTTERFLY

One day a small opening appeared on a butterfly’s pupa. A man saw it and watched how a baby butterfly had been struggling for hours to come out of the small outlet. The man thought for a moment that the butterfly would not cope with its own efforts. He decided to help it and to enlarge the opening of the pupa with his scissors, so, the butterfly easily came out, but its body was folded and its winglets were stick to it. The man continued its observation, expecting that the butterfly would open its wings and began to fly in some time. But it did not happen. Instead, the butterfly spent all its life toddling with its twisted body and underdeveloped wings. It had never managed to fly. The man, in his good wish to help, had underestimated the fact that the struggle of the butterfly to come out of the pupa was the natural way, which had to be passed, so that the butterfly could have a body and wings full of vitality to be able to fly. Sometimes struggle is exactly what we need in life. The lack of obstacles would disable us. Without difficulties we would never become as strong as necessary to be able to fly.
We pray for strength and are given difficulties to make us strong.
We pray for wisdom… and are given problems to make us wise.
We pray for prosperity and are given intellect and muscles to work.
We pray for courage and are given obstacles to make us brave.
We pray for love and are given persons whom to love infinitely without expecting from them to reply to my love.
We pray for decisions and are given circumstances.
Go through your life without fear. Do not haste and do not be delayed. Do not put off and do not hesitate. Be bold, be precise and attuned to the Divine. Encounter all troubles being aware that you can overcome them and that will come true. Don’t forget to celebrate your victories and rejoice at your smaller or bigger achievements. Just allow yourself to be that you are. Who are you? That is the question – re-mind yourself of this, re-member it, re-veal it! Pass on this message, show your friends that you care for them and appreciate them. A friend in need is a friend indeed. A friend in feast is a soul mate at least. And we are all blessed to be testers in the laboratory of life.

EN-JOY LIFE!

Have a remarkable week-end!
