Epic trip was Epic :D I found some lovely crystals to bring home with me :) Beautiful quartz cluster, an elestial (double term.), an amethyst from Vera Cruz, a neat quartz with what looks like a bridge and a double terminated crystal on it. My birthday gift from Bill was a Rose Quartz Sphere that was a lovely shade of gemmy pink (compared to the other two). Got a few gifts for some friends also :) At another store I got myself a labradorite/moonstone ring...I think it's rainbow moonstone as opposed to Labradorite, but both Moonstone and Labradorite are feldspar minerals, and some people call certain forms of Labradorite rainbow moonstone...so I'm going to do some more thinking. The lady said it was Labradorite.
We went though the farmer's market, and Viroqua has this neat open market in the downtown. It's a building that is full of vendors and such. I guess at night they have live music and/or performances.
We ate at this neat little cafe, and we had some Sibby's Ice cream since the chocolate shop we were going to go to was moving and such. Sibby's Ice cream is made in Viroqua and we sell it at the Co-Op (and it's organic!), so to me it's a double neato treat :P lol (points to self) I'mmadork.

Mum, Bill, and I had an awesome time. We all managed to get along and we also got back in time for mum to trim horse hooves for a friend. (which she planned AFTER she decided to go on my early birthday trip)

I did exert myself a bit much...I felt like total ass when I got home. I really do not understand, it sucks D: Eventually my head started to hurt and I felt so icky. I started coughing way worse and a ton more during the course of the afternoon. I had those fruit breezers, but they didn't bring lasting relief. I didn't want to get a cough drop to make it so I stopped getting that phlegm crud out either. I know Vicks does that...but I dun care...I guess that's where I will cheat. :P I had a slight nap, but it didn't last too awful long. Just had some tea with honey....helps momentarily, but I feel it getting itchyish again D:

I'm amazed to find out that I like honey now. For the longest time I disliked honey because when I would be ill with bronchitis my mum gave me tea with honey and lemon juice. The honey I bought was from the Co-Op. A co-worker's family makes it, it's pure raw organic honey. I'm finding that it's a lifesaver here and there. And it IS good on Cinnamon Raisin toast :D
