A Reminder

Because of a certain ordeal that happened this evening I'm reminded of something a fellow lightworker always says "The most difficult people are the ones that need the most love". I won't go into detail of what happened because it's water under the bridge. However I will say I learned that lesson today.

Also today we had to load my son up and take him to the hospital once more because he hurt his right knee in the football game on Thursday night. He hasn't been able to put pressure on it or walk on it. So he's been getting around by crutches and knee brace. We had to wait at the hospital for a pretty good while. They came in and looked at it and said that his ACL wasn't torn which was a good thing but they did think he has a slight tear in his MCL. They put a better brace on it and said no more sports or athletics until he gets an ok from a Orthopedic Surgeon. Uh oh we don't have insurance. Oh well it's the community hospital for us to schedule his appointment. I hope he doesn't have to have surgery. He doesn't want to. Instead if they offer the option of doing rehab that's the route we will try first instead of surgery. The kid loves his sports and it's the one thing, besides us as his family, that makes him real happy. I sit here and watch him sleep with his knee elevated and I'm reminded of the pure love I feel for him. If I could take away his pain and go through this for him I would. He's my son. I love him dearly but I cannot and this is a lesson that he must learn himself. However he is dealing with everything so well.

My daughter for the first time today climbed a tree all by herself. How proud she was. She sent her friend to get myself and her father to witness this event. This was no small feat for her. She's afraid of heights and wouldn't try anything, she's waking up to try new things. I applaud her. I am truly enjoying life. As my soul sister Courtland would say, love love love and rainbows. It's so true. I am so very happy with life right now. Life has truly become a beautiful thing for me and I am glad to be here at this special time and enjoying it so much. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. :)
