I wonder why...

We cannot accept people having different points of views from our own?

I'm not gonna point fingers, but I was earlier on in chat today, giving my humble opinion on a topic, and I am not the kind of person that wants to convince anyone of anything, but if I disagree with what you have to say, I will let you know.

I am not like those that say one thing to you, and gossip on your back.

If I don't agree, I don't agree.

And many times, here and in other forums, when I beg to differ, either the other person becomes aggressive and challenges me to prove them wrong, or they call me a "fallen angel".

Both attitudes make me laugh.

I respect other people's point of view. I think we all have a different angle on life, because our paths are different, our lessons are different, our beliefs are different.

I would never dream of imposing my points of view on anyone. And I find it a shame that people get offended when someone thinks differently about a subject.

Every head is a world.

And I think we should respect other people's opinions because everyone is entitled to free speech and freedom of thought. After all, that's what FORUMS are all about... being able to discuss topics, debate, and beg to differ and have different points of view, yet with respect.

I will only say that if I find this kind of retaliation, I will stay quiet. But do not interpret my silence as me agreeing with your attitude. It only means I respect what you're saying, but I certainly won't waste my time and energy in trying to change someone's mind, when that someone is clearly not in a position of listening or being open to a healthy debate.

I'm sorry if this blog sounds a bit harsh. It comes with total love and respect, and I just wanted to be clear on my position.

I don't wanna fight... let's not fight... better make love and learn from it :)
