My heavenly Wednesday with Shakespeare, Andy Warhol, Belgian Chocolate and an overpriced Jalapeno pepper..
Started off my Wednesday by finishing up an assignment that was due this afternoon,
then off too english class and analyzed a sonnet by Shakespeare (am Too damn Blond to get his juices, but man, he's good!)
Afterwards, my visual culture class went on a field trip to the museum of Fine Arts.
On my way to the museum, i sprained my rubbery ankle at the cross walk. lol, its all good - lightly just scraped my knee ('next time, gotta remind myself not to metaphysically walk faster than my physical legs lol - I noticed being a walk-in comes with a clumsiness premium package).
Didn't know much about Andy Warhol - The exhibit rocked! I mean, wow... I should explore 20th century artists a bit more.
Gonna thoroughly check out the Andy Warhol Exhibit again. Which reminds me I gotta start my next assignments this weekend.
One hour later... I exit the museum, creatively refreshed, impressed and a bit hungry, I walk down the street and discover a Belgium Chocolatier... heaven!
Its a shop called Divine Chocolatier, the name justifies it completely! I have a thing for chocolate.
I entered the shop with a huge grin on my face - I immediately receive a euphoric high just from the smell of the chocolate alone! Holy of the Divine tastes of the Universe! mmm, I walk out with a bar of white chocolate with almonds.
Remembering I had a digital camera in my bag, I snap some photos for inspiration along my way to the market. I needed some fruit and vegetables for one of my drawing classes. I discover that a jalapeno pepper is really expensive, I take the fruit instead and leave for a long way back to my studio.
Kicking around the fallen yellow leaves along the sidewalk, I snap some more photos of my lightly battered legs dancing through the yellow leaves. Its getting grey out, and my nasal decongestant is wearing off. More snot, I think not! I walk a bit faster back home to a box of kleenex...
I pass by some aspiring university photography students, asking themselves what they should photograph. Probably one of their assignments as well. This city is filled with creative souls, especially whenever I decide to walk around and find some inspiration too. I make it back home, tired, inspired, and congested.
Here I initially complained about returning to collegial studies, or even returning to this planet one last time....
This is turning out to be an interesting experience by far, being a full-time student again (even though I mastered most universal skills throughout many myriad lifetimes...
Its good to try on a new pair of shoes... > Visual Arts Student). Life on earth, or anywhere else for that matter is a continual-learning-experience.
You create, you love, you learn, you laugh, you cry, you sprain your ankle and scrape your knee from time to time (lol), so you create some more. Nothing is perfect! or smooth-sailing all the time. You encounter short or long storms, depending which lesson one has to learn. Today was a heavenly one, yes even my short embarrassing fall on the cross walk was heavenly ( I didn't break anything!). Its what you bring into this world that will resonate on the outside of your being.
Wish I could find a cure for the common cold though, its a slightly annoying thing to have lol. Guess it comes with life on earth as well.
Maybe the life lesson learned here today is, not to jay-walk in such a rush? lmao!
Okay, time to sign off for the night. Need some much needed rest. Got a french exam demain matin. Oui! Oui! (getting better @ this new language)
Namaste! Just thought I would share my discovering day with y'all. :D
