A Fresh Understanding

As I read a couple of the political blogs yesterday, I felt negative. Gee, what a surprise. Then I began thinking about my own life and the lives of my fellow citizens here in America, then everywhere. I sensed a correllation between my own personal life and what is happening in America as the election draws closer.

I read that we need to send positive energy to Obama so that he can help America. While I do not want to send negative energy to anyone, in this case I feel it is probably healthier not to project at all.

Giving our power away and projecting is a lot of what we have done to create this reality, and I see how it correllates to my own life.

I do not claim to have answers, this is my obsevation.

In my own life, I need to accept what I have done to create my own unhappiness, i.e. the lessons I have created for myself. In doing so that opens up my field of energy to re-create more positively. It also allows me to see where I have given my power away. It does not however, get me out of realizing and changing my own patterns that have brought me to this point. In other words the Universe has given me no indication that without correcting my thought process, that I am off the hook for what I have already created.

It is the same with the political situation in America and around the world. We are not magickally going to see a change without accepting our creation, and correcting our thought processes. Truly, we need to be the change we wish to see, on both an individual and collective basis.

When we think one political candidate or the other is going to save us, we are still giving away our power. I don't know how else to say it.

I would ask that you just think about it on a soul level and see how you feel.
