TAOISM: Shit happens.

CONFUCIANISM: Confucius say, "Shit happens".

ZEN: (What is the sound of shit happening?)

JESUITISM: If shit happens and when nobody is watching, is it really shit?

ISLAM: Shit happens if it is the will of Allah.

COMMUNISM. Equal shit happens to all people.

CATHOLICISM: Shit happens because you are bad.

Surrender to death. Just let go. What is past is dead. We live in the moment. Usually, the Angel of Death will bring us something better than what we have surrendered. The Angel of Death stays behind us throughout our life, eating away the moment we have just traversed and making it possible for us to constantly move into the future.

True silence has everything to do with our state of consciousness. I think we're all familiar with what I call a manufactured silence, which is a dead sort of silence. If you have been in meditation groups, you have probably experienced a manufactured silence. It's the kind of silence that comes from the manipulation of mind. That's a false of silence because it's manufactured, controlled.

This is a vast subject. Again, as a means of self-discovery we will examine the problem; not to find a `yes’ or `no’ answer but as a means of understanding ourselves. There is so much to say and I must be brief. I can only give hints, point out certain significances, I cannot go into the whole problem, because it is immense. I do not know whether you see it in the same way I do.

What determines real or unreal?

Psychologists and philosophers say that most of us react to the world outside and to other people as we do because of our 'conditioning'. This conditioning is the result of our upbringing, our schooling, the traditional thought-patterns of our social contacts, of our caste or our place generally on the social ladder.
