Who Are You
I am Wisdom
The wine that cleanses, nourishes, and intoxicates
I am infinite knowledge
Spanning eons of planets, galaxies, and the universe
I am timeless, but I hold time in my hands
I am shapeless, but all things take shape within my grasp
I am benevolent and joyous, melancholy and giddy
I am here while being there, up and down
Geometrical and flat
I am patriarchal and matriarchal
I am the nothing beyond physical substance
I called forth light out of darkness
I created life and commanded it to die that it might be born again
I am the groom and the bride
I bring union into that place of ecstasy where all men are conceived
And ideas of the simplest minds burst forth into the ultimate achievement
Of self’s most prized possessions
I am the inventor and the invention
But do not bow when you come before me
Stand, please stand and behold you.
