"There are no chosen people"

Once upon a time, a famous and respected teacher gave one of his students a piece of candy and said, "I am giving this espeicially to you." Deeply touched, the student did not know what to do. He hid the candy in his closet, as he would a treasure, to ensure that no one saw it, lest they steal it, although no one in the school would have stolen a piece of candy. The next day, the teacher called together all of the student and gave each one of them a piece of the same type of candy, as an encouragement to study more. The student who had first received teh candy felt his body go lax with disappointement, and he felt a keen rage of betrayal. The teacher had his "specialness" disappear. He was now like everyone else.

THE DESIRE TO BECOME SPECIAL
From individual fashion expressions to the marketing strategy of multi-national conglomerates, the desire to be special, to stand out, must be one of the strogest motivating forces in our current society. [[IS THIS CONTROVERSIAL/DEBATABLE? I THINK IF THIS IS TRUE --- THATS FUCKING AWESOME ^_^ THEY ALWAYS SAID ... BE AS YOU WERE AS A CHILD, YOU WILL FIND HAPPINESS.]] Such motivations have, it must be admitted, driven some individuals, organizatoins, and even coutries to delop faster and advance further than others. However, this type of growth is based on differentiating and seperating oneself from others. It carries a series risk to life as a whole and must therefore be re-examined.

THEIR HORNS ENTRAP THEM IN VEGETATION AND THEY ARE KILLED "BEING DIFFERENT" .. Remember these assets are for attracting mates. TRYING TO IMPRESS AND STAND OUT FROM OTHERS CAN SOMETIMES ALIENTE US AND DESTROY US ... IT IS A DECISION TO BE MADE! WILL YOU LIVE A PASSIONATE LIFE OR HUM-DRUM AND HOPE YOU SUCCEED?]]

This relative "specialness" is not just a materr of freedom of individual expression. It carries the unmistakable scent of competition that ever spirals upwards. All expressions of life are already special by definition. Every flower is beautiful. The specialness of life is absolute and not subject to a relative comparison. The beauty of a rose cannot be judged inferior nor superior to the beauty of a butterfly. They are both beautiful and special. Then why do we insist on standing out by comparing ourselves to others? What is the basic compelling force behind the drive to become special? It is the craving for attention that comes from the need for recognition. Turned inside out, it is the twisted expression of an ego with an inferiority complex.

One of the most serious symptoms of this "Chosen Syndrome" is the mistaken belief that God has especially chosen one. [[IN A CREATION SO VAST, HOW COULD YOU BE THE ONLY ONE???? WE WERE ALL "CHOSEN" at some point, for some certain task .. furthermore we "CHOSE" ourself if we would or would not want to do it!]]

This problem becomes most serious and dangerous when a group or nation, sharing a common heritage, believes that it is the chosen of God. It is dangerous because such a belief can easily justify the CONQUEST OF OTHER PEOPLE'S LANDS, PROPERTY, AND WAY OF LIFE. THE GOD OF SUCH A CHOSEN PEOPLE DOES NOT REPRESENT A UNIVERSAL TRUTH, but a TWISTED MANIFESTATION OF THE COLLECTIVE EGO OF A GROUP OR NATION.

[[God that sounds horrible, upon, a poor, unsuspecting country that this "EMPOWERED BY GOD COUNTRY NATION" --WHO THIS MAN IS MODESTLY NOT MENTIONING ANY NAMES... NOT SAYING THAT ANY ONE COUNTRY IS GUILTY OF THIS. WE MUST STOP FOCUSING ON THE MADE UP NAMES AND BORDERS AND REALIZE WE ARE JUST HUMANS. WE MUST REALIZE THE SUBLIMINAL AND DETRIMENTAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THESE NATIONS, SO WE CAN BREAK THEM !!!]]

Unfortunately, most of the gods that humanity worships today have had their start in such a fashion, CHOOSINGO NE PEOPLE OVER ANOTHER and ensuring the success of the chosen at the suferring and expense of the other. Our gods are gods of superiority.

[[THEY ARE ASCENDED MASTERS FROM HEAVEN, FROM THE HIGHER REALMS... FOURTH DIMENSIONAL BEINGS, AS 4D beings can live on EARTH.. though they SUFFER ...WITH IN IMBALANCE OF THE CHAKRAS. From an anthropological point of view, the Chosen Syndrome WOULD BE CONSIDERED A NATURAL PHENEMENONON.

Since our gods are originally all nationalistc or ethnocentric gods, whom would they single out to be special other than the people whose collective ego the gods represent in the first place?

AS MUCH AS THEY MAY HAVE LOVED OR APPRECIATED THIS HELP, THEY COULD NOT RELATE THE LESSONS AND NOTIONS LIKE THE ASCENDED MASTER COULD. BUT THEY TRIED. THAT IS A MAYAN TERM, WHICH UNLIKE ENGLISH, IT IS MORE HAWAIIN AND ONE WORD ENCOMPASSES MANY OTHER WORDS, MEANINGS AND PHRASES.]]

Who would your ego choose as special other than yourself? Just as naturally, there is nothing terribly wrong about a group or a nation declaring itself special.

[[This is true .... have/you did you indentify with a religious institution because it was the only one you ever knew or the only one presented to you.. it being "local" meaning your region of the world or your family... Were you pressured to take on a religion, a form of dividing people by little truth but mostly lies? Did acceptance of this automatically cause us to discount other religons/cultures dogmas? Why can't we realize we are all human .. no matter our culture, we have pondered teh same questions about life and afterlife and where did things come from, and how!!! The truth is scattered all over, like a puzzle you see, the T'zolkin!!!! ]]

However, one thing that we have to realize is that this is a self-declaration of specialness. [[SELF-DECLARATION OF SPECIALNESS .. THIS IS WHERE THE "DANGER" PART COULD COME IN? IF WE CANNOT DEFEND.]]

..and not an objective designation by the universal and everlasting truth of the cosmos. The cosmos has NOT declared one group superior to another. [[AND NEVER WILL.]]

As I wrote before, a god is an amalgram of good social values of a specific group or people. Therefore, God is a set of information used by this group to determine the desirability of a certain action or IDEA .... IN A PARTICULAR PLACE AND TIME. [[USED BY THIS GROUP TO DETERMINE THE DESIRABILITY OF A CERTAIN ACTION OR IDEA IN A PARTICULAR PLACE AND TIME.]] Since God is, by definition, a respesentation of a specific group, it CANNOT BECOME THE CENTRAL STAND OF VALUE THAT CAN UNIFY THE EARTH. Our information and distrubution infrastructure is at a point in technological sophistication where it can unify the world under one system.

[[EVIL FORCES ARE TRYING TO DO THIS .... O_O TO CONTROL!!! THE SAME THING AS MADE UP, IMAGINARY RELIGIONS DO!!!]]

However we are still far away from having a collective social value infrastructure that can bring the world under one umbrella. [[THAT WAS A HORRIBLE ANALOGY BUT IT GETS THE POINT ACROSS.]]

In other words, we don't have a chief EARTH DEITY.

WE JUST HAVE MANY SMALLER GODS WHO ARE TRYING TO BITE OFF TOO BIG A PIECE OF EARTH FOR THEM TO CHEW.
This chosen syndrome is merely an expression of this sad reality.

The Meaning of Becoming an Earth-Human

What we need now is a vlue system that places Earth at its center. What we need now is an Earth-encompassing awareness. We are Earth-Humans. BEFORE WE ARE AMERICANS, JAPANESE, OR FRENCH, WE ARE EARTH HUMANS. BEFORE WE ARE CHRISTIANS, BUDDHISTS OR MUSLIMS, WE ARE EARTH HUMANS.

Just as we represent ourselves as Korean, American, or Mexican in an international forum, or ON A COSMIC STAGE, WE HAVE TO REPSENT OURSELVES AS EARTH HUMANS.

They thought they were completely totally normal and life they grew up learning how to be human, thinking that this was NORMAL. Imagine that you have arrived in an alien planet, populated by intelligent aliens. When these aliens ask you where you are from, are you going to answer, "I am from New York?"
Our way of life already shows us that we are each Earth-Humans. Our communications and business transactions prove our lives as Earth Humans. Do you still think that you only belong to ONE UNIT OR ORGANIZATION, A NATION, OR COMPANY?

Do you believe that any other organization is inherebtly foreign to the one to which you belong? Do you think that you derive yourself identity from your membership in that organization?

The organization units such as nation-state [[imaginary things]] and ethnic group [[earth humans]] are remnants of our past habits and do not apply to our new way of life.

Becoming an earth-human means you break out of a self-imposed idea and embrace the rality of who you are. Originally, there was only one Earth. This is still true. All other boundaries are artificial and exist for the convenience's sake only. These traditional boundaries are quickly being left behind by the current reality of the world. The Earth-Human is no longer a conceptual idea-- IT IS ALREADY OUR REALITY.

Loving Earth means that you recognize yourself as a member of the Earth community. Just as parents care for family, we as citizens of the Earth should do asll we can to fufill our responsibility and role in the Earth Community, deriving happiness and pleasure from such a life.

When we accept and embrace an Earth-based value system, all the conflicts and differences that came from disagreements among the smaller value systems of the world will disappear.

When we all become earth-humans, religious differences will be a matter of individual taste and ideaological disagreements will only add to the peaceful diversity of opinions.

In an earth community, these differences will no longer cause conflicts, but will merely represent cultural diversity and richness.

We don't have to learn or prepare something SPECIAL to become an Earth human. All we need is first, the recognition that our CURRENT SENSE OF SELF-IDENDITY AND THE ASSOCIATED SYSTEM OF SUPPORTING BELIEFS/INFORMATION [[SECULAR BRAINWASHING!!!]] are no longer relevant; and second, the choice to step out this shell just as you would throw away a shirt that no longer fits.
