I was sitting on my porch the other day, and saw a dragonfly. I looked at it. It was pretty. I filed it away under "pretty cool." I went inside to get something to drink. I came back out. Now - there was not one, but hundreds, UPON HUNDREDS of dragonflies flying all around my porch. I was like "Whoa." Old me would have thought: "Weird"- and simply left it at that. New me said: "Weird...I wonder what it means?" I guess my trusty guide(s) know subtlety is not gonna do the trick with me. I must be hit over the head with a 2x4, grabbed by the hair - while "LOOOOOOOOK!" is screamed in my ear -before I'm paying attention. (Lol...) So, here's what I found out...

Dragonfly symbolism crosses and combines with that of butterflies & change. The dragonfly symbolises
going past self-created illusions that limit our growing and changing. Dragonflies help you to see through
your illusions and allow your light to shine in a new vision.

Their colors are a result of reflecting and refracting the power of light. They are associated with color
magic, illusion in causing others to only see what you wish, and other mysticism.

Dragonflies are reminders that WE ARE LIGHT and can reflect this light in powerful ways if we  choose
to do so. "Let there be light" is the divine prompting  to use the creative imagination as a force within your life.
