Throughout my studies concerning the Way of the Warrior I have always tried to learn about mental discipline and physical techniques used in all forms of martial arts and warfare. I have come to understand that the spiritual aspect cannot be ignored if one is to understand what it is to be a warrior of peace. Meditation is one example that can be found at the heart of many martial arts of Asia.

There is a form of mental and physical exercise called Chi Kung (Qigong) that has the potential to increase one's control over thier energy body. Doing this enables a person to do many amazing things such as healing, pyrokinesis and telekinesis. Tai Chi is another, more self-defense oriented form of this that came later in history.

Meditation alone can likely achieve the same results, but Chi Kung and others like it are excercises designed to merge the physical and mental processes into focused and fluid motions. One could study this and all other martial arts and still not focus on the spirituality involved while achieving similar heights in ability as the masters themselves, but if one does delve into this most important aspect of martial arts and life in general, the physical limits of the body and mind are of no consequence.

To realise that nothing is solid, everything is energy, and we are all part of the Universal Creation is to open the doors to limitless power of the mind, body, soul. Once applied to the mental and physical activities of your life, it can manifest everday miracles.

The following videos are evidence of a power residing within us all, waiting to be unleashed.
