I've been participating in an exchange today that inspired me to put words to something that's been bothering me for awhile.
Let me start by pointing out, as it was pointed out in the exchange, that I do not (nor will I) call myself either a Lightworker or a Darkworker. I refuse all such labels. If I had to limit myself with a label, "Balanceworker" would be most appropriate. Anyway...
I see all this talk about Light, and raising vibration, and so on and so forth. That's all well and "good", but one polarity is only half the entire power of this reality. Would you deny half your body? Should I, as a left-handed (or sinister) person, never use my right hand?
Let me focus specifically on vibration... frequency. I do not question the merit of raising one's frequency. However, I tend to see vibration/frequency more like turning on a fan than turning on a light. When you switch the fan from low to medium to high, does it emit light? No... it becomes harder to see the invidivual blades, because you're not processing information at its frequency. Sure, eventually the fan blades might glow as air resistance causes heat... but the fan blades do not, of themselves, glow.
Because the fan is not emitting light, is it useless? Of course not. (unless you're using it in a vacuum, which would be pointless) It moves air. It cools you. The higher frequency (or speed of the fan) moves more air than the lower.
I'm not claiming my viewpoint is "right". First, that's polarity... and second, as a "sinister", the use of the word "right" has always bothered me. You could dismiss it as a quirk of the English language... or you could say it exists for a reason. What reason? Maybe that's a discussion for another time...
I've been lurking this site for a lot longer than my join date suggests... and it seems that there's a great deal of "preaching to the choir" around here. Of course, that is to be expected when people of similar interests/beliefs get together.
How many of you will dismiss this post out of hand, and how many of you will take this as an opportunity to test your belief systems? Are you so confident that you have nothing left to learn from anyone else that you can dismiss what I am saying? If so, what makes you so sure? Seriously. I'd like to know. Are your belief systems set in stone? What happens to stone when exposed to the other elements...? This is not to say your beliefs are "wrong". That is for you and you alone to decide.
If my post has somehow offended you... instead of expressing your outrage toward me, why not turn that energy inward and use it to explore why you were offended?
Be well.
