I have gotten so involved in invoking and downloading the streams of light and love from my own higher self and spirit that I have forgotten to activate my own Heart Center, and thereby bypassing an essential part of being able to integrate those energies. Today I had that realization and have been able to understand how it comes together much better that way.
I basically got back in touch and visualized my heart chakra, relaxing more and more, and allowing the love and light within to expand. In my more expanded heart chamber I then invited other aspects of myself and masters to come in who were happy to to do so and assist in it's activation, which they did. I feel a lot more balanced and centered and realize the importance of allowing the love within me to be activated and to merge with the higher self.
