It was just after Valentine's Day of 1997.
I had learned to look, and learned to listen, when I began getting visions-not just of things to come, but of things past. Great things, marvelous visions of ages past and the history of we, our Earth's peoples.
After reading this piece, I invite you to ask yourself if you haven't felt the same...

SING, LEMURIA, SING!
R. E. Hatton

Oh! My sweet Lemuria, Queen lost to the ravager, Time.
Oh, my sweet Lemuria. Oh, that you were mine.
But time has cast its wicked web
and now I mourn the long-lost dead.
Lemuria, I sing to thee!
Harmony, peace embodied every citizen of Lemur,
And everyone, oh everyone fell in love with her.
Beauty beyond the mortal ken
Inhabited all the Lemur men
Lemuria, I sing.
All you ever wished to have was taken quick from thee.
Earth took away my lover before I came to be.
That I might aid in her return,
Lemuria, of you I learn.
Lemuria, I sing of thee!
Crystal clear, your vision of the Truth you freely shared
And all who lived, through your embrace, of Truth became aware.
Queen, champion of eternal light,
Emerge now from your shadowed night!
To Lemuria, I sing!
We gaze through times dim portal and still can see you there.
We who now embody light. We who choose to care,
Through the darkness see your face,
Across the ages, your embrace.
Lemuria, I sing to thee!
Oh, my sweet Lemuria! I long for your return.
Lemuria, I sing to thee, and through the song I learn
Of passion, peace -
The soul's release.
Lemuria, I sing!
Other children, such as I, have felt your sweet caress.
Other souls, the same as I, mourn your untimely death.
Lemuria, in my souls eye
I know that you could never die.
Oh, Lemuria, Sing!
Across forgotten ages lost to history's probing hand
You answer the invitation, though you have lost your land.
Your land, into the sea has gone,
But your immortal strength lives on.
Lemuria, you sing!
The passionate men and women now inhabiting this Earth
Open up their other sense to encourage your rebirth.
Within the heart of modern man,
Those who look can see your hand.
Sing, Lemuria, Sing!
My ode you, Lemuria cannot be mine alone,
For it is sung by others, and your song is widely known.
We, descendants of your grace
Find now, within our hearts your face.
Sing, Lemuria, Sing!
Lemuria, you sing to Me!
You sing, you sing! Your voices ring!
We, your long loved children hear
You, Lemuria,
Sing!
