so here wan talks about the yogic saying 'the guru is greater then god'
on http://www.journik.com it is explained that this saying is true because of how full the guru is of himself.
the guru makes every person depends on him/her. *guru means in its essence a specialist in whatever, teaching, cooking cleaning, swordfighting, meditating. whatever
so god hears from every direction: wow my guru can do this! wow my guru can do that!
and from another direction they hear people say. god cant even cure my desease, god cant even grant me my wish. but the guru can!
God just observes, sees stuff how it is and doesn't judge. So he sees people praying to the guru, thinking that he is greater than god, because he tells them. In the minds of those people he is greater. So, god, seeing this situation, sees a guru that's greater than god...
 
now apply this to your crystals. most people here are very fond of those little shiny things. dont get me wrong they are pretty amazing and such :] but because of all the thoughts people are having I feel that people think the crystals are more amazing then themselves. ah I see you thinking that this is not true now that you are reading this.
but it is also true that alot of people dont realise they dont need t he crystals they are just getting dependant on them.

so also what you can do is. for other people that are not spiritual at all in your surrounding.
you can make a non powerful object like say this metal puzzle thing on my backpack.

and people ask me al the time what it is. instead of telling them it is a puzzle game. I could tell them its some spiritual thing that gives a great power to your mind. and that this is what the ancient mayans believed and that they had all kinds of these things. I could fill it with my intention and make people want it for themselves and think that everytime they are around my puzzle thing that they would get this power.
and then after some months I would tell them it is just an ordinary metal puzzle game.
