I decided to write this into a blog because even though it really now, in hindsight seems like such a little thing, I still think it was significant.
Firstly I really should note that yesterday evening I was feeling very badly. I was somehow angry, (probably in hindsight, caused in part by my slowly growing sense of still out of control empathy) and was quite depressed and confused about everything. I honestly felt like something was wrong with me but I didn't know what. I still don't fully know what was wrong other than the empathy part of it, but I suppose it really doesn't matter now.
Later on in the evening, quite late now at night, I was sitting in my living room on my computer, feeling a little better, but now a bit annoyed that my meditation earlier had been disturbed by my noisy neighbors upstairs. Suddenly, just as I was minding my own business and not thinking at all of anything spiritual I felt the presence of someone behind me. Physically there was no one there, but I could tell somehow that the being, who I could not see but only sense, was from a higher vibrational realm. I did not sense at all that it was a threat to me, in fact I sensed it was completely loving and really from the realms of "the light." Still though, likely due to my relatively annoyed and negative state of mind that I still could not understand my initial instinct was first of all to resist it's presence near me. Still though I actually felt like the unseen being was doing something I can only describe as hugging me.
It isn't as though I outright asked it to be gone, though I'm sure it would have had I done so, yet I did feel for a few short seconds like I was still resisting it. it's strange. I felt like my body was tensing up a bit, but only on the energy level. Very quickly however, the feeling of annoyance, very slight fear, and resistance departed and I could feel only calmness love and light.

I wonder, if anyone else has ever encountered such a being or had such a strange and sudden experience of being visited by it. Any idea why it was here and what it was trying to do?
