I have come to a quite potent realization with crystals today. I seem to have been shown this a number of times through meditation and dreams but had never really fit the pieces together until now.

Working with a crystal in meditation, you would usually place the crystal in the specific location it is said to work best in for its properties. For example Apophyllite is said to work best with the crown chakra and so you would assume to place it over the crown chakra area during meditation for best results. When I started to work with my Apophyllite a while back though it appeared in my vision with a heart piece cut out of the centre of it as if it was showing me to place it over my heart. I did and had far more potent results even with my crown chakra.

Then after having a dream where I was being shown how crystals work by allowing a magnetic field to enter into them at one side and to release it at the other amplifying the field and influencing it with the specific qualities that the crystal carries.

Only just today did I come to realize the final piece to this. I realized when I was reading about the heart and how it emits its own electromagnetic field that surrounds the body. It all just flowed into my mind at that point.

Placing a crystal directly over the heart during meditation, no matter what qualities and properties the crystal has and works with, will be far more potent than placing the crystal into the specific area it is said to work with. You’re placing the crystal directly at the source of the magnetic field where most if not all of that field will enter the crystal and be influenced by it. Allowing the qualities and properties of that crystal to be amplified in the field all around the body and entering into the specific areas it works with best. Rather than only receiving a portion of the field when placing it over the specific location it works with. Energy goes where your awareness flows also and so directing it from your heart where the crystal is to the location you wish to work with will also make it more efficient.
I decided to try the idea out with my moldavite that I’ve had recently. I’ve been working with it over my brow chakra with pretty ordinary meditation results for me. Placing over my heart though was far more potent! It still worked with my brow chakra but far more powerfully. Even producing intense golden sparks of light coming from the brow chakra in my vision which is something I haven’t seen before in that colour or intensity.
