With the new 2012 movie coming out most will be wondering how well it surprise their minds and if spending the 10 bucks is really worth it. With Emmerich as the director you honestly can't expect anything too different, or even surprising in the style of the movie. In fact if you want to see 2012 you can watch Independence Day which will basically give you the same movie, just replace "2012" in the right places and there you have it.

But of course Emmerich still does produce quite appealing movies when it comes to explosions and doomsday riffs about the world ending. The graphics will be pumped up to a higher level and the overall theme should be interesting to watch.

But my questions is should people like Emmerich and the writers left the story telling of 2012 in their own hands; and the hands of Google search?

"…This whole movie I'm doing next was inspired by just the phenomenon of the internet when you type in Google, '2012', you get 240 million hits." - EmmerichPersonally I think there should have been several individuals who actually have the elite knowledge of 2012 and how to handle it with truth, but at the same touch add a Hollywood perspective to really appeal to the audience. All I see right now for myself and the comments of others is that this movie is way to sided with Hollywood and not having any point to it, other than the world ending and everyone being killed.

I made a list of people who I believe should have added the spicing to this movie with some deep spiritual/metaphysical knowledge that they have been studying for years. Although I cannot speak in advance before this movie comes out, I really think it will mostly be surrounded around a total wipe out of natural disasters destroying the world, instead of the old style Emmerich used of everything being blown up.

Drunvalo Melchizedek

Definitely one of the top sources when it comes to information about the upcoming date of 2012 and to what is supposed to happen according to the Mayan prophecy. He is a master in spiritual teachings and the evolution of consciousness beyond our mind. He notes many things as to why the changes are to occur during 2012 and how it all started and how it will all end. If there is a side runner for the up coming film, he should of really been there to help sort things out.

David Wilcock

A genius in the world of science and how it connects to the evolution of consciousness and 2012, this is another nominee I would introduce to the making of 2012 by Emmerich. If you really want some good hardcore facts for people to debate over after they have left the theater, David is the only one to really make that happen. His information and researches always seems to shock the audience when it comes to giving reasons as to why something will happen, he has been making break throughs on 2012 for the last decade, and is still going strong.

Daniel Pinchbeck

Has written a wonderful book called 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl which describes in great detail of what is meant to occur during this coming time. He puts forth some good connections of the human impact and mind and how it evolves with time and space. He would also make a great add to the film during its filming and towards taking it to the right direction.

I believe these three people in specific would really add a decent point to the movie rather than it just being about dooms day. With a sense of direction in the movie, it would be worth watching down the long run, creating a timeless movie you can watch over and over again because it has a message for the people. This can be similarly related to movies such as The Matrix or Fight Club which created an incredible lasting effect due to the message of the movie.

Tell me what your thoughts are on this movie and what direction it should of headed towards. It may seem hard to tell but from all the trailers that are out it doesn't seem to complicated to guess how the entirety of the movie will look. What's on your mind?
