The other day I said something about the evolution/maturing of God/Universe. I
guess I thought a whole buncha folks saw things the same way. I was kinda suprised
when ZenDeviant said: '...Just for that paragraph about God's development. That is a
concept I have held close and only whispered in trusted circles. God's maturation.
God's own enlightenment.'
Is this not a common idea? Isn't is sorta natural that God/Universe would be
going throught pretty much the same expansion and growth that we are, here on Earth?
I tried to google it up just now, but all I could find was stuff on the old debate,
evolution vs Creation. I always thought evolution was simply the method, or tool,
that Creation used used to create with/by. It never occurred to me that folks
didn't see the same picture I see...of a God/Universe born, growing, learning and
evolving.
So maybe I have a few weird ideas? I dunno, just all seems so obivious to me I
thought everyone saw the same picture. Of course we don't know much, if anything,
about how our God/Universe was born...I reckon that's higher dimenisonal information
that I have no access to from here...but I've always thought the God of the old Testament
was a young, learning god...a god learning who and what it is. In the Old Testament
God had a rather nasty temper...always smiting folks...you know turning them into
pillars of salt, taking the lives of their children, inflicting horrible plagues and
stuff when humanity didn't please him. When Adam and Eve messed up, he evicted them.
When other folks messed up he sent floods, and frogs, and locust and a buncha other
ugly stuff. The God/Universe we know now, today, doesn't seem all that anxious to
display temper, anger, judgment, retribution...any of that stuff anymore. God/Universe
seems to have developed patience, love, acceptance...you know, all the same sorta stuff
we are working so hard to bring into our selves right here and right now.
The New Testament demonstrates a whole other 'side' of our God/Universe. Suddenly it's
all about love and introspection and finding the truth within. How could that message
have come through mankind, if not directed by God/Universe? Instead of tossing down
retribution, God/Universe sent messengers carrying his 'new story'...not just one, not
just in one place on the planet, but heaps of them...we all know who they were, Jesus
of Nazareth, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna...and all the rest. It was like God/Universe
was saying OK...I had it wrong...it isn't about power and control...it's all about love
and understanding and caring...it's about guidance and teaching.
Now I'm not saying the Bible is the do all end all of sources of information..it's just
that I was born and raised in a Western mostly Christian world...it's what I know a bit
about. I haven't actually studied some of the other religious texts, so I can't
really comment about them, but I sorta assume that they all say the same thing, just in
a different way, with a different focus. I mean TRUTH can be perceived in a whole
buncha ways...but bottom line TRUTH is what it is, it cannot be distorted just because
some 3D Earth Humans have opposing views on the subject.
If we accept the idea of Oneness...and if we accept the idea of a holographic Universe,
well, can it be any other way? I mean if we are microcosom, don't we have to reflect
the macrocosom...it really can't be any other way, can it?
We are comfortable with the idea that our Planet is evolving, ascending, why would it
be any different for our solar system, or our galaxy...or...yeah...God/Universe itself?
I think ascension is happening in every single cell of God/Universe. We ARE God/Universe.
We ARE everything that is, was or ever will be created by our God/Universe. Why would
it be surprising that God is experiencing our ascension/evolution...right along with us?
