This blog is actually my response to another blog. The blog was about orgasmic birth but my response was a greater metaphor on the ascension and women as midwives and laboring mothers.

Thanks martiangirl for your video post and inspiration to write my response/blog.

I also want to give my utmost respect and appreciation to Karen Bishop. She has given me and many others the courage to speak out and has supported me on my path many a time through her writings.
I mean no disrespect by what I say and instead thank her for challenging me with something she said.
I see her as one of the many women heroes of our time. Just wanted to make that clear. :)
