Seems like so many channels, blogs, and whatevers are talking about manifestation
these days...since the whole The Secret business went public, manifestation seems
to be one of the main goals of folks spirituality.

So, OK, I am a 3D Earth human like everyone else...heck I'd like to manifest a
whole buncha stuff...well, I'm not sure what exactly...but I'd like to have the option.
But lately I've been having this whole other way of thinking about manifesting.
I thought I'd bring it here and see if you guys have any thoughts on the subject.
Maybe someone can help me sort this out for myself.

If you choose to manifest something you must first experience the lack of something,
right? I mean if you want to manifest something there has to be an empty space to
manifest it into. That's where my confusion comes in. We are supposed to growing to
understand that there is no such thing and lack and limitation...yet it seems to me
the first step of manifesting is addressing something we feel we lack. How does that
work?

If we 'believe in' lack in the first place, well, aren't we playing right into the hands
of our old friend duality? Holding our energies in the 3D world where lack exists?
How does one maintain our multi-dimensionality if we are still adhering to old paradigm
thinking?

See my confusion? If we truly accept the premise that we can move beyond duality, even
here, on the Planet, right now...well, don't we have to have total and complete faith in the
idea that there IS no lack or limitation...that Universe is abundant and we will be provided
with all we need...if we ALLOW it?

I can find about a zillion sites here online that will give me 'manifesting instructions'.
Videos, books, blogs...there's heaps of it all over the place. WHAT am I missing here?
If it requires a feeling of lack to manifest...well, doesn't that seem sorta backwards to
the whole leaving duality premise?

I tried to convince myself that adding to isn't necessarily experiencing lack. I mean I'd
love to finally manifest my straw bale house and waystation...I don't feel lack because
I don't have them. I just feel that I may be enriched if I did have them. I keep getting this
mental picture of DNA in my head. You know how when you upgrade to 12 or 22 or 24 strands
you don't actually get new strands, you just get new 'layers' added onto the strands that
are already there. I don't think we had to experince the 'lack' of those upgrades did we?
I mean wasn't it more a case of when it was time someone or something just appeared in your
life and you knew it was time? Won't everything that is ours...meant for us...be the same,
just appear when it's time and be 'added on'?

That's probably very convulated thinking...I can't help how my mind works...but that is the
mental picture that comes up when I ask these questions to myself. I sorta took that to mean
that or wanting, or lacking...even needing...is duality thinking. If we are working from
duality thinking in the first place...well, how could we trust what we manifested, even if we
did manifest it?

Yeah, OK, I know, I think too much...but hey...in 62 years...no matter how hard I've searched
I've never found the OFF button. I'd like to hear your thoughts on this guys.
