I've been thinking about the Law of Attraction, what most people say about it and how people say it works and there is just something that I feel is not complete about it. There is some sort of contradiction between it and Soul Contracts.

I have the following two clues which I think might be the missing link: lack of information, the absense of time, and unconscious creation.

Most of the time we mention that:

"Likes attract likes"

A contradictory situation I made up. A practical case I was thinking of to explain my question. This case is hypothetical and I hope it helps understand what I mean:

Peter lives in the Republic of Shactum and he works for an international consulting firm.  He was a very responsible man and very honest. When his higher self agreed with other 20 soul mates to live this life time and all learn form each other, one of the issues they would work out is laziness. That is the only thing he will remember: that he will have trouble with it. He obviously won't remember anything else from his soul contract.

Situation A:

A few years ago, Peter had to work with a team of 10 soul mates in this firm. By then, Peter had a level of conciousness and a life quotient of around 200. The other soulmates had different life quotients, all between 150 and 250. They all became very close to Peter and they made a great team, until the guy with a level of 150 gave Peter a lot of trouble because he was very lazy. Why would Peter have to learn about laziness? Maybe he was a lazy guy in his previous life? We don't know.  Another member of the team, one who was very intelligent, became lazy too. This one had a level of conciousness and life quotient of 220. Fortunately, the team dissolved because of some firm's requirements and Peter no longer had to work with those 10 soul mates. Still Peter decided to keep working with maybe 1 or 2 of that team who where the ones with the higher life quotient. From these experiences Peter increased his life quotient.

Situation B:

Years after, Peter heard an angel saying that it was time to manifest something and that people should ask for what they wanted. He remember his previous experiences and thought about what he wanted. He wanted to do some business with another firm with honest people with a level just like his. "Your wish is my command", said the Universe. Peter's boss told him he was ready to handle by himself a big transaction with a guy named Mark from the country New Lumens. The transaction would be done in a few months virtually. Peter had reached by then a level of consciousness and life quotient of 500. He saw Mark's profile and heard lots of comments about him, and eventhough he couldn't figure out the exact life quotient, he thought he might have a similar one to him. Mark was a prominent figure and after having some conversations with him, Peter was glad to have him as his business partner because they both agreed about lots of things, they had many ideas in common and the had the same level of knowledge.

Mark had to deliver every week two reports for the consulting firm. One directly to Peter and the other one to another department. After some weeks of successful reports, Mark began sending the reports late, or he just didn't deliver any to Peter. He still delivered the reports to the other department, which were simpler than the ones that he had to send to Peter. The first time, Mark told Peter there was a war going on in this country. Next time there were simply no excuses and no communication at all. If this guy was an eminence, why would he display such behaviors? Peter figured out Mark was becoming lazy.




So, in this case we can see how a Soul Contract applies and a little bit of Law of Attraction involved. What the angel didn't tell Peter is that when he made is Soul Contract with his soul mates, they would appear at any time during his life time even if he had been increasing considerably his life quotient.

So, could he have avoided situation B? That would have meant to undo part of his Soul Contract. Why, if he had a higher life quotient than others, he had to interact with people with a lower level of consciousness and life quotient?

Peter had some information about Mark, but not full information because his interaction with him was VIRTUAL. This made situation B more challenging than situation A in which he knew fully the other members of the team because he could know their intentions, attitudes, etc etc etc...

Law of Attration would mean that you should only attract situations with an identical level of consciousness and life quotient which I believe is not true at all because then part of the Soul Contract would have to be undone.

I read something about manifestation and attrction of situations that would serve a higher purpose, but it has to be done at SOUL LEVEL, or UNCONSCIOUSLY.
