Hi everyone. Today was a mix of getting my house in order and making time to just BE.
What has stood out for me today is - what do people see as food for the soul?
I know for me what food for the soul is. Spiritual food.
Spiritual food is absorbing yourself in spirituality - flooding your consciousness in light.
To keep one's mind absorbed in Divine food you need to feed it with spiritual food.
What is that you ask?

Love, love and love is the most potent of spiritual food. A love that does not demand anything
in return. A love that is so powerful it makes your eyes wet and stops you in your tracks.
Divine Love is the most powerful of love in the Universe. It is more powerful than any physical
love. Divine Love creates miracles and changes lives. We call that Unconditional Love.

The best way, I feel, is to connect again with the many aspects of the Godhead.
These aspects such as Jesus, Krishna, Rama, aspects of Vishnu and many others have incarnated
over millennia so that people on Earth can experience their love first hand. The aura of love
that they emanate is overpowering. They display many aspects of their personalities whist in the
physical form, so they may not comply with the expectations of their devotees.

The deities sometimes come to Earth with their consorts. A consort is the feminine energy, the
female aspect of God. Like Rama and Sita, Krishna and Parvati, Vishnu and Lakshmi.
When the two aspects of God incarnate on Earth and reunite, the Divine power is unimaginable
to the average person. They become a very powerful force together as they integrate with others
on Earth whilst spreading their love far and wide. This way they are bringing Heaven down to
Earth for all to experience their Divine Love and Heavenly gifts, leelas they call them.

There are many spiritual books that the aspirant can acquire and connect with them in consciousness.
This way, the mind is kept in a pure state and allows this Divine energy to enter their Being.
That connection forms a link to their chosen deity, and when requested, that deity will guide
the devotee through their spiritual path. Many, many stories have been documented about the
miracles that they have experienced through devotion to their deity.

When the mind is on the Divine, the devotee is filled with an inner-peace and glows with love.
Their consciousness is expanded and they are gently guided to their full potential.
Their lives take on a deeper meaning and broadens their understanding of the spiritual aspects
of life. By having a spiritual figure to provide a guiding light, your life remains focused
and provides precious tools that enable us to realise our full potential.
