It’s the weekend once again, a time of anticipated excitement and joy, a time to leave the demands of this world and focus on the lighter side of life.

In many ways, when we meditate, we step aside of our physical life and attune to that part of our being that is our essence. Sometimes we do not even realize that our essence is the source of true joy. Many return from meditation energized and in a euphoric state prepared to face the world of challenges.  Sometimes we find answers to our greatest questions.

This morning it snowed. It was the first I have seen for the season where the snow actually stayed on the ground. It was an amazingly blue sky filled with the morning sunshine. It felt glorious. The weekend is here and its a glorious day, what more can we ask for.

Many or us face difficult challenges in our lives. Some of us are at a turning point, choosing a new direction. Some of us are in new relationships and while some are leaving relationships. Nonetheless, we are all facing challenges and change.  Time is transitioning from the week days to the weekend, and the seasons are transitioning from autumn to winter (in this part of the world).

It is much the same with meditation. It is transitioning from one state to the other. It is moving from a physical and mental consciousness to a spiritual consciousness. It is moving from an illusion to a true reality.

When shift happens, the transitioning from one state to the other, weekday to weekend, autumn to winter, it is a source of realization. It is an awareness of the nature of our journey and the realities of different states. It offers a life lesson regarding personal transitioning. It is not always weekend, or summer, but is it true that the spirit within is constant. Is it choice that navigated our life away from the constant state of our spirit. Is it choice that took us away from our natural state of bliss? Such transitioning offers the realization that we can not only see the truth of our being when we meditate, but also embrace it and take it with us in every moment, and every season. Bliss is our nature and our birthright and there to choose if we will.
Amen

I share this with you that you may embrace the Love in your heart and your own blissful state of existence in unity with all of life here in this realm and beyond. VD
