There's been allot of blogs of late that have me thinking :-) ... and feeling ... interesting stuff and for that I thank you.
My trepidation about the 'absolutes' I sometimes see in all things, not just blogs. Today, I stopped at a stop sign, and across this street, I saw a car start to roll through the stop sign and then stop. In the crosswalk the Mother and her two children were walking - they were in the crosswalk before the person start to drive into the center crosswalk. The mother and her two kids ran across to get out of the cars way. And I thought 'that's just wrong' and then I thought 'that's just human.'
I saw a person today call someone else a liar, stupid, or at least they indicated the comments they made were stupid and lying. And I thought 'that's just wrong' and then I thought 'that's just human.' But the thing of it is... they know they're human. They aren't bad/good/perfect/imperfect... really - they are just human. Because being human with a soul encompasses all things.
They are demons/angels/gods/goddesses/fragile/not fragile/powerful/not powerful/sad/angry...
I personally find the light in the ways of seeing 'all' not just black vs. white... I think everyone of us does better to ourselves and humanity on a whole if we look deep within and figure out why we had to almost run down the woman with the child in order to get across the street. Why we might call someone a liar/stupid/false/negative - why we give off these judgments. I think that's what I find most disturbing is the people who don't admit to their humaness and preach the light. The light isn't about being more lordly, getting paid for your healing, stamping a trade mark on your spiritual path or attunement, it's about sharing compassion, seeing humanity as worth saving and being a part of humanity. You can't save the earth without acknowledging the good in humanity. You can't want to save anything without first loving it for what it is... unconditionally.
I think there's a group of us who really would like all the dark ones to get their just desserts, but you know? We need to be o.k. with the fact that the dark/negative/bad or whatever people might not ever suffer... they just might not. Why should we be o.k. with that? Because it's part of compassion, it's part of seeing the world far more good than bad and it's walking the walk. It's saying to everyone I don't seek revenge because they are me, we are them and we're all together in this. If they suffer, we suffer.
Look into your soul, deeply into your soul when you make something that seems rather cruel/dark/happy/good and figure out why you're having these 'feelings' and once you find that source - look at why that is an illusion or maybe it's not...
but in all of this tolerance of your own lack of compassion/love/light or whatever... means you're understanding more and more of yourself... don't forget the so-called 'dirty' stuff... because we can learn from it.
