These are my thoughts on what is "real" and what is "not real" in our world.

WHAT THE REAL WORLD IS NOT

I don’t read the newspaper or watch the news. For too many years I religiously got caught up in all the “troubles of the world.” At a certain point a few years ago I got tired of hearing the same stories, every day, over and over, of every possible catastrophe which could possibly happen only with different names and slightly different slants. The news people make their living by keeping all who will watch and / or listen in a constant state of turmoil.

A book I read recently had a quote. I do not remember the exact quote but to paraphrase. – Don’t worry about things. If you can do something about it (whatever the problem is), then DO IT. If you can’t do anything about it then DROP IT.

Obviously the point is, there is no need fretting about things you have no control over.

I have friends and family who tell me that I need to keep up with current events “it is important to know what is going on in the ‘real world’” The people who say that to me don’t think like I do.

WHAT THE REAL WORLD IS

The “real world,” to me, is a community of a like minded people who love the Creator, themselves, all life, nature, the world, and the universe; a group of people who don’t see things as “bad” or “good” but see things the way they actually are and accept them that way, without judgment.

The “real world” to me is a community such as Lighworkers who Rejoice In The Glory Of The Creator and the Creation. A group of like mined souls loving, supporting, joking, having fun and all moving Toward The Light.

OBSERVATIONS

I am relatively new here, only a couple of months – more or less. In that time I have received more love, warmth, and acceptance – whatever it is that is positive – I have received it here. Whenever I get a little grumpy or out of sorts – I’m human – it happens (grin) all I have to do is come to log in to Lightworkers. Even if I don’t have any new messages or posts in my guestbook, I look at the faces of the people on line. I look at my “friends” listing. I look at messages posted from one friend to another and I grin – BIG TIME. The blues have magically disappeared – I am again “right with the Universe.”

THANK YOU - all my friends – my brothers and sisters – for being you – for BEING; for the marvelous gift of the Creator of being “many” – yet being ONE WITH THE CREATOR - and ONE WITH EACH OTHER.

I may not know you personally, to walk up on the street and say “Hi.” But I DO KNOW YOU – I know your heart – I know your love – and I love you for it.

With all the love of the Creator and the Creation I send YOU – EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU – AND ALL WHO ARE TO COME IN THE FUTURE - Love, Light, Peace & Joy
