Greetings everyone who so generously took time to lovingly respond to my previous post and to those reading this now and who will go to that post and maybe reply :) It seems that virtually everyone echoed the same sentiments and I do agree that I need to let her go and travel her path that she is now creating.
Can, or should, I help her? Need advice please...
O.K., here's the story and I will try to make it brief but sometimes I can ramble...lol So, my girlfriend of the past 5 years or so, she is 50 yr., is self-destructing before my eyes. She has steadily become more and more dependent upon alcohol, narrowly missing two dui convictions within the past 18 months, and only by the true Grace of God.
