The animals are here to help us. They don't need help. We are the ones that need help. Does that mean we step aside and do nothing for the homeless, abused, sick or endangered animals? Of course not. What people don't realize, though, is that the reason we are a voice for the animals, is to ultimately help ourselves. What harm we do to animals, we do to ourselves - we do to humanity.
This week’s self-care card is Reflect – Keep your eyes open. Joy lives in small places.
Our self-care card this week is Boundaries – Set boundaries. Protect your precious time and energy.
I first drew the self-care card Listening (listen to your wise self – let your inner compass direct the course of your life), which we’ve already had. Then I drew Love. Choose love. Let your love become a powerful force for change.
I drew and got Achievement then got Faith, cards we've had before. To achieve we must have faith. This is a very good message for everyone. So I drew again and the new card is Decisions – Honor your top priorities. If it’s not an absolute yes, then it’s a no.
Our self-care card this week is Wait – Honor your resistance. Sometimes no action is the best action of all.
I first drew Trust, which we’ve had show up before – Trust your decisions. March to the beat of your own heart. Next I drew Listening, which we’ve also had. Listen to your wise self. Let your inner compass direct the course of your life. So finally I drew Relaxation. Allow yourself to be lazy. It’s ok to “do” nothing. (Ok maybe I read this and set down the cards and did nothing the whole week on it!)
Journey to Empowerment - Journey to Your Self - Weekly Self Care Card #26 Intent (Focus Your Energy)
I had drawn Power – Own your power. Every storm brings a fresh, new beginning. Now that is a duplicate but how appropriate. And guess what card it was - #11! Remember the power in #11? So our card is Intent – Focus your energy. T here is amazing power in a strong intention. So the power definitely ties in with this week’s card.
Today's self-care card is Silence – Rest your mind. Silence is good self-care.
I drew the Faith card again, which was 11 cards ago - Faith – Have faith. Faith grows when you act without knowing the end result. We can always use faith but I looked up the significance of 11, as I felt it was significant. It carries a vibrational frequency of balance – male/female equality and contains sun and moon energy. It can signify to realign, reaffirm and rebalance ourselves.
So I drew again and got Self-Respect – Respect yourself. You’re the best judge of what’s right.
