As long as I can remember this particular symbolism manifests itself in my artwork.
It's a circle with a longish triangle under it, usually red.
Here is a painting I started this week of a girl; the symbols are on her cheeks.
Would they be War symbols? Any particular tribe?
I've googled around, but no luck.
Thoughts appreciated!

THE UNICORN
The unicorn became a religious symbol in the art of the Middle Ages. The original tale was that a beautiful maiden representing the Virgin Mary managed to trap a unicorn, whereupon the unicorn became tame and lay its head in her lap.
As the legend grew through reinterpretation, the unicorn was viewed as the Christ or Incarnation and the death of a unicorn as the Passion of Christ. This allowed a pagan symbol to become highly esteemed within the church. In fact, a grouping or herd of unicorns is called a “blessing” of unicorns.
The correct term for the unicorn horn is "alicorn". Alicorns are amongst the most powerful magical items. They were prized by popes and kings because they provided protection against all manner of evil, including epilepsy, pestilence and poisoning.
The ancient Chinese, Greeks, Romans and other peoples had accepted the unicorn as real, and the arrival of the beautifully spiraled objects seemed to prove the animal's existence. The supposed horns sparked huge interest because they were said to have the power to cure ills and neutralize poisons.
Kings and emperors, eager to foil assassins, had cups and eating utensils made of the precious horns. A London doctor advertised a drink made from powdered tusks that could cure scurvy, ulcers, dropsy, gout, consumption, coughs, heart palpitations, fainting, rickets and melancholy.
The horns became an icon of power, both earthly and divine, in part because of their religious associations. In medieval times, the unicorn was seen as a symbol of great purity and of Christ, the motif common in religious art. The fantastic beast appeared in many thousands of images.

Blessings to all and Happy Beltane and a new Season of rebirth.
I have been spending time with family, animals and my new small garden. it is just a delight!! I love the new season of Spring, and be able to see how everything gives birth, the trees, flowers, even animals. I wake up every morning listening the birds singing and it gives me so much pleasure. I do celebrate in different ways. Today I found this video on Altars, and I wanted to share with you, I have few at home. It is funny to see that some of my altars just happened to be. But placing in a special part of your house certain things that symbolize different energies or state of minds. I also recomend to do temporary altars, for example on your garden, backyard, patio, balcony or window if you wish. Celebrating a moment, an event, a feeling, or anything you wish. You can celebrate something wonderful or a goal you achieve by putting a small altar and say thank you, and feel the moment of bliss and fulfillment.
After you are finished or whenever you feel is right, you can remove it. Last time I did one small altar at my balcony, and I place flowers, some plants, crystals, burn incenses, and I sit there covering my head with a nice soft pieace of cloth I had, and I meditated for a while, feeling nature, and loving energies around me, of course let's not forget music, to me is essential in my life. Anything we can do to make our moments magical do so, it is a moment you give to yourself. You deserve it!!

When I began to study a spiritual form of Japanese flower-arranging called Ikebana-Sangetsu,
I discovered I was slowly developing a deeper understanding of the connection between all
life. In our first class, my teacher said that flowers can actually talk, that they each have
their own way of being beautiful. They have 'prana', life force, so you have to pay full attention
to them, rather than imposing your own ideas of beauty on them. So I began to ask the flowers
how they wanted to be arranged, what positioning would make them feel most beautiful, and I
waited and listened.
Even after they had been set in the vase, I would discover sometimes that in the morning
they had rearranged themselves during the night. Even though they were secured in the
vase, they always seemed to be minutely straining to find their right place. At the same
time, they were not fully independent; they needed loving care. They were dependent on
me, or whomever their caretaker was for the day, to water them, to keep them moist.
Sometimes I would watch other people spraying water on the arrangements and I would
feel so moved. The droplets left on the green petals and flower buds seemed to be dew-
drops of compassion, so delicately poised, touching the source of life, nourishing the
heart of beauty. This experience made me feel how simple it could be, if our minds and
hearts are set in the right way, to water not only the plants, but human beings - to treat
all living creatures in a way that allows them their right to be beautiful, in their own space
and time.
What we came to notice in our class was that flowers could also listen. Our teacher urged
us to always remind the flowers when we passed how beautiful they were and to thank them
for sharing their beauty with us. When we did this, when we made our arrangements with
this kind of love and devotion, we always found that the flowers remained beautiful and fresh

My Dearest Friends.... I come to assure you that things are as they should be. There are great amounts of energy bombarding your Earth at this time and everything is being greatly accelerated. NOW is the time for 'focus'. You who are the bridges between Heaven and Earth are the 'hands and feet' of the Command, so to speak. It is through you that much of our work is done. As I said, much has been accelerated and, although we wish you to remain in a state of joy and lightheartedness, it is now time to put your 'work' in its proper perspective and concentrate on the mission at hand. We are working very diligently to gather the Lightworkers together in order to prepare the general population for what is to come.
This means that each and every one of you are needed at this time to make a commitment in your own heart as to what role you will play in this. In other words, it is time to get serious. We are not asking you to give your lives over to the Ashtar Command exclusively, for you each have many missions and sub-missions that you are here to accomplish. What we are asking, however, is that for those of you who feel your connection to us to band together, so to speak, in order to establish and implement certain 'activities' towards the goals which have been set before us. You have shown that you can do this numerous times, such as in the planting of the crystals and the activation of the grid. This was an excellent example of the Unity we wish for you to achieve, and our heartfelt thanks go to all of you who have participated in this project. Rest assured there will be other projects we will ask you to work on. For the time being, we are asking you to continue in this Unity, and stay focused on the tasks at hand.
Do not let yourselves become 'bogged down' in the mundane affairs of your day-to-day activities. We wish for those of you who are aligned with the Command and its work to use this wonderful email forum to interact with each other in manifesting this bond of Unity. You are held within the gentle hand of All That Is and encircled with the energy of Unconditional Love of such depths that your present consciousness can not truly comprehend its magnitude. "Birth"
Darkness is my home
Transforming truth to grow new life,

Thanks to everyone for the support and good energy. I was just mentioned in Social Hollywood Mag along with other indie artists that donated songs to the movie They Live Among Us. This is what it is all about, sharing and creating. It is NOT about the money even though we still use money to buy recording equipment and computers and electricity etc. We are all taken care of when we are doing what we love to do one way or another.

Anne Lower is on a mission. The L.A. based indie filmmaker is working furiously to finance her passion project, They Live Among Us. The first three episodes of this ambitious web series can be viewed on YouTube, and Lower’s quest has been chronicled athttp://theyliveamongus.com/.
My interview with her reveals an intelligent, funny, and tenacious woman, who knows what she wants, and will settle for nothing less.
SHM: How goes your never-ending hunt for financing?
AL: I just wrapped our IndieGoGo campaign for Episodes 4-6; we ran a bit short. There is still about 6k to go, so I’ll continue efforts. Once we launch 4-6 I am working with more traditional forms of financing through investment groups. Life is a never-ending adventure.
SHM: Are you any closer to filming the next three episodes?
AL: We begin photography on February 10th. I cannot wait to get back onto the set; now that we have established the world and those who live in it, the storyline begins to unfold. I’m referring to these three as “ Bloody. Sexy. Fun.” I hope the viewers agree. The cast and crew are anxious to get back into our playground as, obviously, am I.
SHM: Talk a little bit about what it was like filming the first three episodes on such a small budget (without permits, insurance, etc).
AL: It was interesting. That’s a word that we use in my family to put a positive spin on challenging circumstances, haha. There were times when it was liberating, in that scenes would simply happen. They would develop a life of their own, and we – myself, the cast, the crew – were there along for the ride. That is the drug of art and of creation. Being in the moment, the zone. It’s exhilarating. There were times when it was a little frightening. I had leased a warehouse, but the shoot was cut several hours short when the landlord returned early, drunk, high and with a heavy metal band – he had decided to throw an impromptu rave – and ejected us onto the streets after midnight in the garment district. We still had several hours worth of scenes to shoot. People were sleeping in the streets; the air stank of urine. It was a very emotionally dismal night for me. And there were times when it was frustrating. The Peg/Ted sequence suffered because radio towers blew out the lavalier (wireless mic) channels, so we had to move to boom. Kendra and David are both astounding actors; I did not want to disturb their process through amplification… but dialogue was terribly muted. “Fix it in post” is simply not an option. And yet, that poverty was also liberating, for it forces creative solutions. With a lot of money can come a lot of fat. I need much more money to do honor to this series, but I’m grateful to have been forced to think creatively.
SHM: Where did that budget come from for the first episodes — out of your pocket?
AL: I launched a Kickstarter campaign and raised just under 6k once fees were taken out, and threw an additional 6k of my own in. It wiped me out… but I was determined to see this project come to fruition.
SHM: How did you come up with the idea for a Tweetathon to gain funding, and did it work?
AL: A.D. Lane, a British indie filmmaker – @indywoodFILMS – had run a similar campaign that I watched. He went 92 hours or so – I ended up pulling 90 total, and ten days later, at the end of the campaign, another 42– and I thought that it was a great idea. At the same time, Jay Donovan of Office Hooky Chat – @ohchat – reached out wondering how he could help. I told him that I was going full Jerry Lewis for the campaign and pitched the Tweetathon to him. In the words of Quentin Tarantino, we had ourselves a Bingo. I raised a little over $12k, which left me with about $10k after the fees were applied.
SHM: Speaking of which, your video blogging during that tweet marathon was pretty entertaining. How important is it to keep a sense of humor amongst the chaos?
AL: Oh, it’s tantamount to survival. Not only in the Tweetathon, but in life. People – especially those with a robust viral presence – often take themselves way too seriously. They confuse viral celebrity with IRL (in real life). I can assure you that the two are not the same. Life is short and uncertain. It’s a much more adventuresome ride if you can laugh at yourself along the way, you know? I had fun making the vids – I would just pull them out of the air. They help keep me awake. I mean, seriously, Country Cousin It? What the hell was that? Jambi? Don CorleAnnie? And, of course, the infamous Headdesk. At least once a day I am reminded that the internet is forever.
SHM: The unconventional narrative of TLAU is refreshing. I love the fact that the first episode follows one guy, who would seemingly be the hero, only to veer off in an unexpected direction. Where would you like to see the series go, in terms of character/story arc.
AL: I used the first three episodes to establish the world and the characters within it. The next installment is where the story really takes off. The central thread is the gothic love tale between Caim and Serafina, and the two love triangles – one supernatural, one mortal – that they are ensnared in. But there are several other storylines that early on may not seem connected, but slowly they are woven into the central storyline. I’ve referred to TLAU as a rich tapestry, and indeed it is.
SHM: You’ve said this project is gothic romance meets urban horror meets film noir. What film/television/literature inspires you?
AL: I am a huge fan of classical literature; Shakespeare is a huge influence. I think if he were around today, he’d be writing features… and moving into new media. I love how Hamlet is a masterpiece…and yet, it’s really soap opera. A family drama, like Dynasty, just with a much better plot and elevated language.
I love Homer, as well as the Greek playwrights. I prefer Euripides, because I believe that he wrote women well. Aphra Ben. The modern scribes for the stage: Sam Shepard, Tennessee Williams, William Inge, Suzan Lori Parks, to name just a smattering.
Stephen King is an extraordinary writer; his stories are classic examples of ordinary men and women under extraordinary circumstances. Jane Austen’s prose is like the iron fist in the velvet glove. Anais Nin for her lyricism. Tom Wolfe, Harper Lee and Mark Twain for musical voices. All so beautiful.
In film, I’m all over the map. Love old Hollywood; I’m mad about great silent films like WIND, METROPOLIS and LE PASSION DE JEANNE D’ARC. I love the French New Wave cinema and the mumblecore movement, including today’s. I also love big studio blockbusters.
Some films that really stick out to me for visual storytelling are JU DOU, RAN, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, VERTIGO, THERE WILL BE BLOOD, FARGO… ah, the list is endless. Anything Hitchcock touched.
…and today’s crop of indie filmmakers. I love the work of women like Kimberly Pearce, Debra Granik and Lisa Cholodenko. They are paving the way for femme film.

AL: I’ve been an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault for over a decade; it’s part of my journey as a survivor of sexual assault as a child. There’s been way too much non-disclosure in this arena, so I am determined to keep the conversation alive, even if it means putting myself out there. People need to be allowed to talk about it. They need to know that the trauma inflicted upon them was not their fault, not for one second.
Serafina’s backstory is an all too common tragedy. Raped as a child, left without the support and resources to help her cope with her trauma, she became a runaway, living on the streets of Los Angeles, before turning to prostitution as a means of support. People are really shocked by the brutality of her relationship with Rocco… but I find it painfully real. Violence and abuse are all she knows.
The thread of the flesh-eaters is borne directly from my experiences as an actress in Hollywood. The marginalization and treatment of women is appalling – even today. We are seen as commodities; our worth, our value is not measured by our minds, our hearts and souls, but by our bodies and how we rate on the “hawt-o-meter.” It’s a naked and frightening feeling, to be consumed in such a manner. That’s where the audition scene in Episode 3 came from.
SHM: As an indie filmmaker, and a woman to boot, what kind of resistance do you come up against in Hollywood?
AL: I think the primary way is through limitations. The attitude is often “don’t worry your pretty little head, go write/direct/produce wish-fulfillment movies and you’ll be fine.” Well, I don’t write wish-fulfillment. I’m a dynamic individual; I hunger to constantly grow, and to expand my knowledge. I look at life as a never-ending learning process and really detest being pigeon-holed in any way, shape, or form.
I want to write action and I want to direct it. Finally, women such as Katherine Bigelow have opened up those doors, but I have to fight tooth and nail just to get a meeting. This is why I launched this series. I decided to make my own life happen instead of placing it in the hands of others. If life is an aircraft, I prefer to be a pilot instead of a passenger.
SHM: What can people do to help make more episodes happen?

This new "Blue Marble" image of Earth was produced by the VIIRS instrument aboard NASA's most recently launched Earth-observing satellite: Suomi NPP. The composite image was assembled from image data captured from a number of swaths of Earth's surface on Jan. 4. The NPP satellite was renamed "Suomi NPP" on January 24, 2012 to honor the late Verner E. Suomi of the University of Wisconsin, who is considered the father of satellite meteorology.

NASA scientists created this companion image to the wildly popular "Blue Marble" picture released last week. This image combines data acquired during six orbits by the Suomi NPP satellite to produce a view of the Eastern Hemisphere. The new "Blue Marble" pictures were taken using an instrument aboard Suomi NPP, known as the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite. The four vertical lines of "haze" seen in this image are caused by the reflection of sunlight off the ocean.

A week after NASA released an updated version of its "Blue Marble" photo, the picture of our planet's Western Hemisphere has become such a hit that the space agency is coming out with a sequel.
Today researchers at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center unveiled the Eastern Hemisphere "Blue Marble 2012," assembled from imagery that was collected by the Suomi NPP climate-monitoring satellite during six orbits on Jan. 23. Both views of the Marble take advantage of the spacecraft's Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite, or VIIRS.
You're looking at the Eastern Hemisphere as if you were seeing it in space from a distance of 7,918 miles (12,742 kilometers). NASA says the four vertical lines of "haze" visible in this image are due to the reflection of sunlight off the ocean during Suomi NPP's orbital passes.NASA spokeswoman Rebecca Roth said the folks at Goddard were tickled to find out that last week's "Blue Marble" picture was so quick to go viral on the space center's Flickr site. "We were curious about its popularity on Flickr compared to other images, and came across a number of articles on the 'Situation Room' photo ... and were surprised at our findings," she wrote in an email.
Last year, TechCrunch reported that the "Situation Room" photo, which shows Obama administration officials gathered at the White House during the operation to hunt down Osama bin Laden, ranked as one of the most widely seen photos on Flickr — with 1.6 million views recorded during the first 38 hours it was on the site.Roth checked with Flickr's Zack Sheppard, and today she quoted him as saying that "the Western Hemisphere Blue Marble 2012 image has rocketed up to over 3.1 million views, making it one of the all-time most viewed images on the site after only one week."It's always dicey to make claims about "first," "most" or "best," but Roth told me that "Blue Marble 2012" is getting far more views than the classic 2002 edition of the Blue Marble, which is perhaps best known nowadays as one of the default photos on iPhones. Right now, the Goddard hit parade is: Blue Marble 2012 West at 3.2 million views. "Bye Bye Comet" video at 681,000. 2002 Blue Marble East at 551,000.2002 Blue Marble West at 391,000. It shouldn't be long before 2012's Blue Marble East starts rising on the charts.
How the Marble was made
Suomi NPP, which was launched last October, isn't exactly designed to snap beauty shots of Earth. "NPP" stands for National Polar-orbiting Partnership, and reflects the fact that the $1.5 billion mission is a partnership between NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Department of Defense. The minivan-sized weather satellite was christened Suomi just last week as a tribute to University of Wisconsin's Verner Suomi (1915-1995), who is considered the "father of weather satellite systems."
The next-generation spacecraft flies in a 512-mile-high polar orbit to conduct climate studies at the same time it's collecting weather data. So if the satellite is only 512 miles above the surface, how can it produce a picture that looks as if it's coming from deep space? NASA scientist Norman Kuring artfully combined six sets of data from Suomi's orbital passes to produce the "Blue Marble"views.

Here's how NASA explains the perspective today in a "behind the scenes" feature:
"Using a basketball you can get a good idea of how far away the Suomi NPP satellite is from Earth. Take a basketball that has a diameter of 10 inches (about 25 centimeters) and say that's 'Earth.' (For the record, Earth has a diameter of about 7,926 miles, or about 12,756 kilometers).
"So to get the same view of Earth as the VIIRS instrument aboard the Suomi NPP satellite, hold the basketball five-eighth of an inch (about one-and-a-half centimeters) away from your face.
"The actual swath width of the Earth's surface covered by each pass of VIIRS as the satellite orbits the Earth is about 1,865 miles (about 3,001 kilometers). On the basketball that's about two and one-third inches (about six centimeters)."

All I have to do is ask and the universe provides opportunities for my art. Festivals, workshops, exhibitions, and funding just seem to welcome me into their field of nrg as I wonder about my ability to sustain myself. As I look at those around me and admire their business acumen I find the skills within myself to follow my heart into prosperity. The joy of child-self activities and general creative exploits really do make the world an amazing place. Now the trick is to sustain the momentum and revel in prosperity.
Even though there is little money in the bank I know that my business attracts lavish abundance and I want for nothing as all the prosperity that is my birth right appears in my life immediately, without delay and with the blessing of all that is sacred. I activate the dna from past lives where I was at optimum health, brave, joyful, and completely tuned in to my soul's purpose. My art, writing, workshops and the words I speak are a conduit for divine expression.
There can be no greater gift than that of creative drive. The passion, patience and connection involved/required for such self-expression is monumental and I thank those who have brought me back to my art, to my child-self and her insatiable, unwavering creative purity. To release that need for approval, for control, and to embrace the process. Oh the joy of love! True, soulful love that is compassion. This is me sending out angel kisses and guide hugs to all in need of a little smile to keep them grounded in love and light :)

ok ,made the necklaces..:)
While making them i decided to do more research on the horns. I have a wonderful book called ' The Unicorn Manuscripts'.. and OMgoodness they are filled with soo much truth of unicorns that just touches my heart and soul. Mostly, their healing abilities. I just sense a deep inner knowing of much of what is said in those manuscripts to ring true. Its so magical! And it has inspired me so much.
I have read also that the horn represents the opening of the third eye as it appears as a spiraling vortex. This gives the unicorn the ability to see beyond the veil. And some of the info i placed below on narwhales is sooo fascinating.. as scientists have found that their horn serves 'as a sensitive pressure detection system, or even a way of assessing tiny changes in the chemical make-up of the water.' and 'forms a sensory organ of exceptional size and sensitivity, making the living appendage one of the planet's most remarkable, and one that in some ways outdoes its own mythology.'.. and is not used to kill. I found it interesting how they also compared it somewhat to peacock feathers.. as i see peacocks used in much symbolism in spirituality.. as their tails have 'THIRD EYE/ THE SINGLE EYE' type patterns.

A Unicorn's horn was very valuable in medieval times because it was believed to cure illnesses including stomach trouble and epilepsy as well as neutralize poison. This all was believed because of the horn's fabled purity, so it was commonly used in medications. The actual horns that were used in medieval times were that of the Narwhale (Monodom Monoceros), which is also called the "Unicorn of the Sea" The male narwhales have one twisted tusk on their nose, much like that of the Unicorn. For centuries, the tusk of the narwhal has fascinated and baffled.
Narwhal tusks, up to nine feet long, were sold as unicorn horns in ages past, often for many times their weight in gold since they were said to possess magic powers. In the 16th century, Queen Elizabeth received a tusk valued at ?10,000 - the cost of a castle. Austrian lore holds that Kaiser Karl the Fifth paid off a large national debt with two tusks. Scientists have long tried to explain why a stocky whale that lives in arctic waters, feeding on cod and other creatures that flourish amid the pack ice, should wield such a long tusk. The theories about how the narwhal uses the tusk have included breaking ice, spearing fish, piercing ships, transmitting sound, shedding excess body heat, poking the seabed for food, wooing females, defending baby narwhals and establishing dominance in social hierarchies.
But a team of scientists from Harvard and the National Institute of Standards and Technology has now made a startling discovery: the tusk, it turns out, forms a sensory organ of exceptional size and sensitivity, making the living appendage one of the planet's most remarkable, and one that in some ways outdoes its own mythology.
The find came when the team turned an electron microscope on the tusk's material and found new subtleties of dental anatomy. The close-ups showed that 10 million nerve endings tunnel from the tusk's core toward its outer surface, communicating with the outside world. The scientists say the nerves can detect subtle changes of temperature, pressure, particle gradients and probably much else, giving the animal unique insights.
"This whale is intent on understanding its environment," said Martin T. Nweeia, the team's leader and a clinical instructor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Contrary to common views, he said, "The tusk is not about guys duking it out with sticks and swords."
Today in San Diego, Dr. Nweeia is presenting the team's findings at the 16th Biennial Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals, sponsored by the Society for Marine Mammalogy.
James G. Mead, curator of marine mammals at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where Dr. Nweeia is a research associate, said the exposed nerve endings appear to be unparalleled in nature.
"As far as I can see, it's a unique thing," Dr. Mead said in an interview. "It's something new. It just goes to show just how little we know about whales and dolphins."
He noted that no theory about the tusk's function ever envisioned its use as a sensory organ.
In the Canadian wilds, the team recently conducted a field study on a captured narwhal, fitting electrodes on its head. Changes in salinity around the animal's tusk, Dr. Nweeia found, produced signs of altered brain waves, giving preliminary support to the sensor hypothesis. The unharmed whale was then released.
With the basics now in hand, the team is working to understand how the narwhal uses the information. One theory is that the tusk can detect salinity gradients that tell if ice is freezing, a hazard that has killed hundreds of narwhals. Tusk readings may also help the whales track environments that favor their preferred foods.
"It's the kind of discovery," said Dr. Mead of the Smithsonian, "that opens up a lot of other questions."
Little about the narwhal's appearance or behavior offers clues to the tusk's sensory importance. The whale has eyes, though small ones. It also has a thick layer of blubber and no dorsal fin so it can swim easily under the ice. Like any whale, it must surface periodically to breathe air. And as in dolphins, its mouth is set in a permanent smile.
The word narwhal (pronounced NAR-wall or NAR-way-l) is said to derive from old Norse for "corpse whale," apparently because the animal's mottled, splotchy coloring recalled the grayish, blotched color of drowned sailors.
Though shy of humans, the animals are quite social. They often travel in groups of 20 or 30 and form herds of up to 1,000 during migrations.
Males weigh up to 1.5 tons, grow about 15 feet long and are conspicuous by their tusks, which can grow from six to nine feet in length. A few females have tusks and, in rare cases, narwhals can wield two of the long teeth. Though often ramrod straight, the tusks always grow in tight spirals that, from the animal's point of view, turn counterclockwise.

I drew this yesterday when I felt like drawing a circle.....I love to draw circles for some reason and I think it is because it reminds me of wholeness and completion....and yesterday I was needing to feel completed....lol......on all levels. When I was drawing it for some reason Aliester Crowley kept popping into my mind and I am not sure why....I do not even read his books or have a real interest in his history. But I am feeling that it was him that was asking me to draw this.....the day before while I was at a fair I talked with a guy who was a publisher for a book my daughter bought and he was talking about him and that might be why he was around me yesterday. While I was drawing this picture I heard something about cracks in the foundation of the Christ Consciousness is healing and that there will be an increase in conscious awareness. He liked the color green very much and that was the color I started off with followed by blue and then yellow and orange. And I think this drawing looks better when you see it directly and not on the computer.

Firstly I wanted to share a new work of art with you.. It's a miniature painting on the tiniest canvas ever and a tiny little easle, photographed in the autumn sun here in the UK..

I wanted to also mention how I have been feeling VERY off for the last few days in particular.. since the 25th, that was when it got quite intense but it started to build up maybe a couple of weeks before that.. Anyone else felt funny?
I have had an acidy stomach, acid reflux, major anxiety and slight OCD (beginning more severely on 25th) then yesterday I woke with sweats, shivers and aches like flu but with no other symptoms, today it has mysteriously gone! I think I am possibly beginning to release the last of my past traumas and experiences and fears.. I had asked for help from my guides in opening my root and solar plexus chakras (these are my underactive ones) and things definately intensified after that. Just before this all started I had actually felt the most alive, excited and invigourated that I had in a very long time. I was looking into a possible part time job working with children and ponies and the excitement at that possibility brought back such enthusiasm for life.. such that I had not felt since I was a teen working with horses in return for rides at the weekend!
However with that enthusiam I guess came facing the great loss I felt as a teen, my truly broken heart.. After sharing a horse for almost a year with my sister and her friend we realised he wasn't right for us. People promised to help us get a more suitable one. These people ended up putting us on unruly horses and eventually telling me and my sister we couldn't ride and shouldn't own a horse.. I had never felt more belittled, humiliated, heart-broken, dream shattered in my entire childhood. Horses were my hearts joy, my life until that moment. Then after that I felt ashamed to associate with them. Unworthy even.. and I have never really faced that yet. I haven't ridden since that day ten years ago. I think perhaps I am beginning to release all that pain ever since I opened to the possibility of having horses in my life again (even if they are just shetland ponies :p) I also sent a message to my sisters friend who's aunty now owns our old horse, saying I would love to visit him soon.
As I mentioned in my comment on Gold Wizards blog about depersonalization disorder, I have suffered with anxiety from a very young age. It definately began when my dad left the family and my mum broke down at around age 4. It started as seperation anxiety, moved more onto anxiety about the end of the world and my percieved mortality, feelings of detatchment at around 6-12 years, then it possibly went away for a while and at the time the horse experience didn't seem to bring it back. Infact, At 15, the same age as that experience I began awakening onto a spiritual path after having always had an interest in the otherworldly. After that was not scared of and did not believe the world would end. Infact I got the feeling me and others were here to stop that happening!
But come 17 I fainted in school due to someone describing a wrist operation in detail. I had previously been fine with blood and would be the one right infront of disections. Looking back now my mum and I think it's very likely I had glandular fever which was going around at the school at the time. After fainting and waking up to people so distressed around me, I suffered post-traumatic stress, major anxiety, hyperchondria, agoraphobia (didnt like to go places I thought might make me faint, but I would force myselt to anyway) chronic tension headaches and possible ME (chronic fatigue) for about a year.. it was horrible
(Something weird about this is I have always felt connected to the granded I never met who killed himself by slitting his wrists, sometimes I've even wondered if this was my last life, but that's another blog)
However, I do believe people are sent into our lives to help and heal us because I met a friend that year, whose presense and caring nature in my life slowly and gradually brought me out of that dark place. He helped me so very much and I am eternally grateful for that.. My partner really helped me as well. I wasn't too bad for a few years after that, until age 20. I maybe felt a bit depressed leaving 6th form to go to a college I didnt enjoy, and possibly had mild moments of anxiety or hyperchondria but nothing too abnormal.
At age 19 my boss of the time was verbally abusive so I left and refused to get another part time job. Instead I vowed to make money from my art.. Those few months were quite low ones for me but not too bad and by May I was selling art regularly. I have since gotten over the part time job fear and am now working at a children's playcentre. So that's one positive :) Sadly though in july that year my dad passed away from alcoholic liver disease. After that particularly after the first years shock had worn off I did go into major anxiety again, ME, hyperchondria big time, OCD.. I had my art and spirituality to get me through though.. and gradually I got myself better.. I DO NOT blame anyone for how I feel, I only have loving, forgiving and grateful feelings towards my parents. I forgave my old boss too, hence now having a new job. The only one I have left to release and forgive is the lady who told me I shouldn't ride. Well I am going to try beging now. No time like the present! Lady, amanda I think your name was. I forgive you. You did not know what affect your words had on me. Perhaps you were stressed and worried too, perhaps it brought up fears in yourself also, seeing us unable to cope with the horse under your guidance. You were only trying to help. I send you love to your heart and I FORGIVE you. I release you from my thoughts and worries and cells. I cut the cord. And so it is.
Well I didn't expect to do that... but I hope it at least begins to help the healing along. I love horses and their presense in my life I feel would heal my heart so much and bring great enthusiasm for life again..
I had another traumatic experience some of you know about.. losing my home and partner this time last year.. however I reacted with love and not fear and we are still together working much more honestly and equally towards our future.. we are both focusing on ourselves and our unresolved issues and offering eachother unconditional love and support. There is no blame or guilt. I'm proud of myself for that.
I am hoping now that this last little dip into anxiety, OCD and for the first time in years doomsday fears is just those very last, very deepest long held in emotions surfacing.. If you have read until now, thank you so much for sharing my journey. I would love to read abours too in a comment or your own blog perhaps..? I don't expect everyone to read all of this, it is mainly me letting things out.. :)
So yes, the last few days have been a bit crazy, I have felt crazy at times to be honest.. and physically very strange. But today I feel a bit more normal. A bit more reflective. I understand there were a few strong alignments and solar flares, I expect others may have experienced similar symptoms? I'm just going to try and let it flow.. I was feeling the tension but continued to push myself a bit too far and put others first. I think at intense times like this we need to look after ourselves and not ask too much of ourselves.. go easy on yourselves beautiful people :)
Magical times lie ahead.. timees we've all been waiting for. Times we're all still creating so lets create the most beautiful visionm we can! Whatever makes you happy and brings you alive MOVE TOWARDS IT! Trust in the universe as a benevolent force.. with our best interests at heart. Just as I wrote that a pure white feather floated down onto my foot!!!!! That sometimes happens when I am right about something, doing the right thing :)

I finished a painting this week and a dear friend of mine, Darrell Borza, wrote a heart’s poem after tuning into the paining. I would like to share it with you below. Enjoy!
Title of painting: “Stilt”
Familiar in her unfamiliarity -
She is coming into this realm to deliver Her message, it is in her face, her expression – her eyes say the e-motions only the sensitive of heart will hear.
She has walked the Earth since Earth breathed her first breath and she is here in the Now to watch over another change in those that thought their time would not ever end – their empire would last forever.
She delivers her message in the gate of her stride, the stealth of her motion, she commands the infinite ignoring times illusion as she watches time fade to yet another history to be lost in beneath the sands of the future. She is the emissary of Earth’s heart, the strongest of all organs, the most powerful of energy centers. If you see Her – honor her as she passes so you too may pass through the change She ushers in.

Emmanuel Kelly sings John Lennon's Imagine at the X Factor 2011 auditions. Emmanuel and his brother are Iraqi, and as babies were found in a shoebox by Nuns. Both are disfigured and were adopted by an Australian woman. Emmanuel's story is the PERFECT reflection of the song. Incredibly moving.

love holds you loves you kisses you treats you uncondtionally with all the love you could ever want ever need and its so real so warm so true genuine and just right perfect balance and harmony in the love that is everything and part of everything if u dont see the flowers smell them touch them taste them feel the vibrations of them and the trees and everything then how would u know uncondtionall love as it is one and the same as everything in nature and plays with the universe what takes mankind out of the mind sets and in to timeless effort uncondtionall love be it feel it touch it see it taste it breath it but best of all be in love and live the adventure in love other wise u are just like a plastic toy mouse in a plastic wheel its fun but u are going no were just in the same repeated groove of mind sets records the real vibration is now in nature in the universe if you listen with your heart and not ur mind you can hear it its the sweetest song you have ever heard its been there for so long waiting just waiting to be heard and now its the tune we dance to live in and follow every were as we are the love song its playing just for us naturally random and its play time like never before

we are walking living breathing art poetry in motion sharing one heart one soul and its life it is how it is to describe it you can only describe it through nature as nature is as wounderfull as awesum as alive as we are the sun sets the moon light the gentle breeze through the trees blowing your hair touching your skin your heart your soul the warm sun upon your face the moon light shining in the night the deep blues of a midnight sky the stars the planets like old friends smiling upon us the earth all so with love with compassion with joy with happyness contentment to lay down under the same moon in your best friend and lovers arms to share everything in love to wake under the same sun and walk hand n hand skin to skin sharing the wounderment of the newness its homely its sharing home together in love

"Sitting in a sacred place, underneath an old willow tree, this came to my mind. I heard messages in the wind, saw images in the tree's bark. Just some free writing I hope to make a song from one day soon. Enjoy!"
Underneath the Willow tree, it's easy to set my spirit free.
All these signs I begin to see, say that you're not coming for me.
I listen to the Cicada hum, as my guitar, I quietly strum.
I think about the things I've done, and the things which are yet to come.
Underneath the Willow tree, it's hard to see what surrounds me but glee.
The pain from you is no more, as a journey from my door.
The further I walk the shore, the higher can soar.
You set my wings on fire, and shattered them like glass.
But now they've come back stronger, like the diamonds which we lack.

I don't know what to say, how much longer I can play.
This game's too much to pay, but I'll make it through today.

sacred sensuality reality of who we are and its to enjoy play love grow its as natural as the sun rise and illumanating as the moon light its as tender touch of the softest hand like a butterflys wings upon your skin its the sweetest tasted you have ever tasted its the sweetest smell you have ever smelt its the unconditional love that is within us all but only comes out to play when you answer your call,its something you could never define no limits no pressure no time why because its uncondtional so you can just grow as you do us in this new and everything that is to be begins with just a single key it said hello lol and i reply we now are in this together as one the love of a life time is here to stay we rise with the sun and play eat grow sleep by the light of the moon in each others arms reality is play time
